Because they don't have the crowd mic'd up the same...it was the same last week. They also have the screen up.
I noticed it last week when they were at Utah and said the same thing.
They've got the heaters on and the screen closed.
That said, the crowd does suck...and there are so many signs you really can't read anything. The only chant I've heard is "S-E-C...R-I-P..."
It's like everyone pulled an all-nighter trying to come up with his/her sign and then get in line to get in the front row.
I hope these folks have more energy come 3p.

Take solace in the fact that MSU's defense is just average this year. UM will have opportunities to move the ball through the air and on the ground. Harbaugh will be able to create lanes where there were none the last 4 years.
And, if all else fails, our defense will be able to stuff Sparty pretty damn well. UM shouldn't need more than 20 points to win the game.
