Not a great lineup...but before you complain, think about what you were doing on Saturday just 1 month ago.

Syracuse has dubbed itself as "New York's College Team," but with ESPN College GameDay headed to Times Square next weekend, the Wall Street Journal designed a highly scientific way to measure which collegiate brands have the strongest followings in NYC. WSJ's study design: Monitor runners on popular routes to see what college shirts are worn, Ok, maybe it wasn't not terribly statistically relevant effort, but here were the results: Michigan, Penn, Duke, NYU, Stanford, Yale, Cornell, Princeton, Cuse & Virginia made up the Top 10. I went last year and it was absolutely unreal. A top 2 best college football experience I've had. Best experience away from Ann Arbor, without question.

But I'll never understand the "Where is the UM bar within 200 miles of Ann Arbor/Detroit/Grand Rapids" question. Everyone knows you want to watch the game with fellow fans. We get that part. But the actual watching of the game is the most important part, no?

Grab a beer, start talking to the bar flys next to you, buy them a beer if you want to make instant friends, and watch the game. Done! It's now a "Michigan" bar. I live in Denver now but I've lived a few different places around the country and this has been the solution every time.

Ps you owe me a beer the next time I'm in Royal Oak.

Some good games on tap...Nebraska vs N Ill could be interesting. Clemson Louisville also should be fun. And will be tuning in to TN vs F to see if the gators srill suck. Hoping they blow TN up

Wow, Tennesse and Florida use to be a marque game for espn, isn't it called the largest cocktail party or something like that?  But instead they go to nyc, I guess that is what happens when you become shark-humping life champions and hire jemele hill!

be okay - wisconsin, florida and ND for instance.

won't be watching, will be coaching (and then driving), but should be back to see the second half of those.

Now, to be fair, if we get a sufficiently chilly winter here, it can be a rough go rowing the Huron (or Belleville Lake, for that matter - I think they practice there occasionally) for a couple months, although to your point, I think trying to navigate or ford the numerous ice dams could be a character-building exercise as well as a strength-buiding one.

I'm calling Army over OSU today. I don't make predictions often, but Army has the ability to neutralize the defensive line and If Barrett has a bad day...
