Everytime I watch Jacory Harris, inconsistetn as he is, I always say I'd rather have him than TP.

Except, of course, the day they played each other. FML. I still cant believe they couldnt cover the spread against the Bucks. Dammit!!!

It's fun watching a much slower, crappier version of Denard move the ball on OSU.  (Though OTOH, I don't want him to be able to do that against us.)

I really didn't think Illinois would move the ball this well in the first half, let alone be close enough to have a chance at another TD...oh well, another FG.

Watching Pryor, you do wonder if he'll ever figure out how to throw the ball effectively.  I know it took guys like Vince Young, Troy Smith, and even Tebow a bit to figure out how to be good QBs, but for all of his skill and natural ability he just looks lost out there at times.  And he's started or played significant minutes in around 25 games, so this shouldn't be new to him.

Is it wrong that I would seriously consider trading Tate plus any 1 of our RBs for the Illini defense right now?

(Homer Simpson voice)  uhhhhhhhhhhhh Deeeeefense

What is the difference between our zone read and the one that Illinois runs? Theirs appears to develop much quicker, and be more of a downhill play.

I haven't watched a ton of Jacory Harris, but every time I do watch him, he seems to do something incredibly stupid and nothing exceptional. I don't understand his hype (btw this is in response to an easy pick by the Cover 1 safety on his last deep ball, which was about 7 yards overthrown anyway).

I'm actually not that worried about the Illini offense - Illinois would be in trouble if OSU could move the ball offensively at all.  And for as good as the Illini QB looks, he's only played a coupel of games this year and it doesn't seem like OSU was really ready for him defensively.  Expect that to change by the time UM see shim and they have more game tape.

I know we sometimes make fun of Denard for humming in 5-yard slants, but watching Pryor it is startling how little touch he has on passes.  This is only the second time I've really watched him this year, but both times he has looked bad as a passer.

Held the ball too long.  Pretty much all his good plays in this game have been on broken plays.  he is not executing the offense very well.
