May not be the guy for Texas, but I firmly believe he's a good coach.
IMO, you have good coaches...and he, David Shaw, Dan Mullen, Rich Rod, maybe Mark Stoops, a bunch of others fall into this group.
You have great coaches...Miles, Fisher, Stoops, maybe Patterson and Swinney fall into this group.
You have elite coaches. Meyer, Saban, Harbaugh. End of list.
People love to rag on guys like Shaw and Strong...but how many guys out there are really THAT much better? Three. The answer is three. For good and great coaches it's much more about "fit" than it is about the coach.
For the elite 3, they fit anywhere.
If Strong is fired or leaves...I hope he finds a solid fit, because he's a very good coach, IMO.

The way Texas is still competing. That is a sign of a good coach. If he is fired, I am sure he will be offered a job again and he will do well.

They easily could've folded and they have a nice bounce and energy...let's see if they can keep it for 4 quarters. They had two BRUTAL last second losses and then just didn't bring it last week.
They remind me of Michigan a couple years ago when we fought, but we were just SOOOO young. We were getting excited about a halfway decent block from Kyle Bosch just because it was something to celebrate from a young player who had no business being in the game.
Texas plays 22 freshman/RS freshman significant snaps. We play...Drake Harris, Grant Perry, I guess you can call Peppers a RS freshman since he got his redshirt. That's all I can think of.
