Listening to him speak as he responds to questions and talks about his philosophy and approach, he really seems like a salt of the earth guy. Articulate, bright, energetic, and by all accounts a man of integrity. The more I learn about him, the more I really like this hire.

I think there is an advantage to not being a high-level BB player in the previous life.  You could tell that Dusty is a student of the game and a BB junkie.  This should make him a better teacher. I was very impressed with his presentation.  He came across as a likable person with a nice sense of humor.

We are set for the next 15-20 years if this works out.

I wrote for the Michigan Daily Sports section for a semester and at the time most of the guys didn't seem to have been athletes.  They were the guys who ran the stats at the basketball game who played little league but not beyond.  They all knew 1,000 times more about sports than I did including the sports I played.

I can't help but feel the heap of expectations being piled on Coach May already. I certainly am impressed by his open candor & just the genuine honesty in his responses to all these reporters. This has been missing for years, and I'm here for it. Will be interesting to see how he fills out his staff & recruits this offseason. Great timing on the hire Warde.

I liked Dusty's demeanor and his answers to the questions.  He carries himself well.  The thing that struck me over the past couple days since the news broke was how everyone likes him and has only good things to say about him.  It's not easy to be THAT well liked.

I am a fan and want him to succeed in a big way here, not just for Michigan of course, but for himself.

I’m biased living in Charlottesville, but he kinda reminds me of Tony Bennett in how he carries himself. High integrity, high class, teacher of the game. I’m down.

Born in B1G country, molded by one of the greatest coaches (Bob Knight) at a B1G school. Already coached in the area at Eastern. Feels like a great culture fit in addition to his track record. Really like this hire.
