He should transfer to CMU, play with Shane, rush for over 800 yards and take a crack at the NFL.

Read about this yesterday. Really bummed to hear what those injuries have done to his confidence and mental approach to the game. Here's to success on the track and in the classroom. Get it done Drake!

I know we will probably never get any specificss regardling the forklift incident for both legal and privacy reasons, but I really wiss they could tell us exactly what happened.  I've never seen a forklift that someone could walk away from after being run over.

At this time, Johnson is in the process of petitioning to the NCAA for hardship waivers in football, indoor track and outdoor track. If the petition is granted, Johnson would be eligible to participate in all three sports for Michigan in 2017-18.

You would think with all that has happened that the NCAA would grant the waivers no problem, but then you're trusting the NCAA to do the right, humane thing.

Even if he DID get the hardship waiver, he isn't playing behind all the other youngsters in front of him. Also, I think people have every right to chase their dreams, dream so big people will laugh at them (to steal a quote from Harbaugh.) HOWEVER - If you get run over by a forklift, that may be a sign that your dream may not have been meant to be...

I don't know man - he was pretty good when he was healthy.  He was our best back 2 years ago and it was clear when he ran the ball that he looked different than the rest of the RB's.  He gashed OSU before he hurt the knee in a way that no one else on the roster could.  This makes me sad but I will remember him as a really good dude and a pretty darn good RB that made a contribution while he was here.

The NCAA, which is supposed to support student athletes takes this position against Drake, yet ignores/underpenalizes sexual abusers, academic cheaters, prostitution clients, and pay for play schools. The only organization to give the NFL a run for their money in incompetence.

Hope Drake makes it back. He showed in 2015 that he still had the burst to be an effective back on 3rd downs with screen passes etc.  He has an infectious attitude as well.
