Draftageddon is back! Seriously... ESPN is basically doing Draftageddon.

Basically, the premise is that Andrea Adelson, David Hale, Adam Rittenberg and Alex Scarborough (ESPN college football writers) are "Drafting college football's best players into four superteams, position by position."

You thought you could get away from Draftageddon, but you can't. ESPN saw the gap in the market once MGoBlog ditched the concept and decided to adopt it as their very own.

I present to you ESPN's version of DRAFTAGEDDON - now with even less analysis!

Spoiler alert - 3 Wolverines were selected. Olu Oluwatimi by Rittenberg in the 14th round; Zak Zinter by Hale in the 17th round; and Jake Moody by Adelson in the 21st round.

Handy list at the bottom of the link with selections by team.

Team leaders:
8 - Alabama
6 - Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State
4 - LSU, Notre Dame, USC
3 - Iowa, Kansas State, Michigan, Texas A&M

Didn't the OP already tell us that?

Spoiler alert - 3 Wolverines were selected. Olu Oluwatimi by Rittenberg in the 14th round; Zak Zinter by Hale in the 17th round; and Jake Moody by Adelson in the 21st round.

But I'll give you a +1 anyway for going through that and being willing to take one for the team. 😊

its not good that we have so few. makes me think we may be a bit overrated. We can always hope our guys play our way up, but the teams at the top have the top guys and also guys who play up.

Little bit of a downer, but... hope we can show it on the field. I don't care about positional greatness. just the winning. Hope we don't NEED the former to have the latter.

I'm going to try to say a couple of things here without coming off rude. Please know I'm not trying to be a butt.

First off, ESPN is not going to be carrying big10 games for very much longer. Keep in mind they are sports ENTERTAINMENT more than actual sports news. They are going to pump up the players that they get to show.

Secondly, always take national pundits with a grain of salt when they are getting into areas that take hyper-specific analysis. As a function of their job, they are not going to be spending as much time breaking down individual teams and finding the players that aren't already household names on marquee teams.

That isn't to say that we aren't over or underrated for that matter. Just, these lists from ESPN should be looked at as more fun than as in-depth analysis.

That's all fair, but the guys that make it to the end are head and shoulders above the rest. 2 of our 3 are in positions that... while important... are not demonstrating elite skill play (kicker and center).

I don't disagree with you on really anything, but I also think that sometimes we overstate bias a bit. They may not lap up the B10, but osu has plenty on the list and probably could have more.
