“I think he was in awe soon as he walked down the tunnel. And he walked in there and it was just a surreal experience for him....

....The student body, when you walked past there they were yelling things at him (like), 'we want Domani! We want you to be here!' So, that was very welcoming to him, and that meant a lot to him....

....[about Coach Clink] He said that he's more of a visual teacher, which Domani is more of a visual learner. So I mean, that was perfect. And I think his resume from Kentucky kind of speaks for itself....

The full interview is in the podcast at the link. He did make it clear they are doing their "due diligence" on every team still in play, USC, Michigan, and Alabama. They are going to decide after the season.

Listen to the podcast for much more detail. He talks more about the visit, his mom, Will Johnson, Coach Clink, USC, Clay Helton.

Here's what I have learned from a friend of his family.

If Donte Williams is retained at USC, Domani stays with USC.

If Williams is not retained, his mom want's him to go to Alabama.  His dad is open to Michigan or Alabama.

He will be at the Alabama/LSU game in November.

Lots of time left.

USC is probably going to be a really tough sell right now, unless they go and just get a slam dunk hire. You've got just no idea what direction they're going to be heading, what scheme the new defense will be, the culture of the program, etc.

Michigan appears to be trending up in this situation, but anytime Alabama is on a kid's radar, I naturally just have to assume that recruit is Alabama's to lose. There is not much Michigan can offer on the field that Alabama can't offer and more. But I also don't know what Alabama's depth chart looks like in the secondary, and Jackson would have a fairly quick path to playing time here just based on his talent level alone. I'm not entirely sure that Jackson wouldn't have to wait a year or two before seeing the field for serious action at Alabama.

Beyond that, going to be tough for Michigan to outsell Alabama for anything on-field. Its happened before for sure, but its still very tough to overcome that behemoth.
