Does anyone have a Rutgers visitor list for the game?

If i remember correctly, the last time we visited they set it up as their biggest recruiting weekend of the year, only to be served up a 78-0 beatdown.

I'm curious if they similarly hyped this weekend, or down played it in terms of top targets.

here you go:

lol’d at the intro

“Michigan is coming to town Saturday, hence, there will be a ton of recruits on campus to see how Rutgers holds up against its "recruiting rival." One team is in line for the college football playoffs while the other has one win. But what a statement it would be for Rutgers to compete against a top national program in front of the top recruits in the area.”

Holy shit!  This is real!!!  I followed the link, and yeah - big recruiting weekend for Rutger!!  It's not 200 croot big, but they actually have some 3-starz visiting.  Color me surprised, I thought they'd be looking at 2-star and lower (or unrated) kids.  Because, and lets be serious here, they may be in the B1G (ugh) but they are barely a G5 bottom feeder.

Fuck you, Delaney.

Official visit: Thomas Armstrong, 2019 DE, Chaminade-Madonna Prep (Hollywood, Fla.) Armstrong will be on an official visit to Rutges this weekend. Despite playing defensive end in high school, Rutgers is giving him a real hard look at outside linebacker. He is a 6-3, 220-pound senior.

Instead of visiting Rutgers, this recruit is visiting Rutges, a derivative of rutger.

Just saw an article that said Arthur Sitkowski was going to be on campus with them AGAIN this weekend.  There's NO way this kid picks The Rutgers over a scholly to Miami, but he does seem to be sporting ALOT of The Rutgers gear in all the weekend updates...looks like they even let him suit up, which has to be some kind of violation.  SMH.  Crootin'.  ?‍♂️

Two years ago the program hadn't quite fully cratered, so it was reasonable to have recruits.  Who would want to go there now and endure a physical and emotional beatdown every Saturday.

Can you believe Rutgers had commitments from both Saquon Barkley and Jonathan Taylor?

INSIDER INFO: Buddy from school whose neighbor's daughter is dating a trainer for The Rutgers football just posted a partial transcript of Ash addressing the team in their final walk-through last night...hope our guys see this and are ready:

"Alright, men!  Listen up!  Tomorrow is our BIGGEST GAME OF THE YEAR.  IT'S GONNA BE MICHIGAN!  MICHIGAN AGAIN!

"The other coaches and I have determined that due to B1G travel restrictions, they have to leave THIRTY guys behind in Ann Arbor!  Thank God.  But, WE'LL have ALL OUR GUYS!!

"Is that you crying, Watson?!?  Stop crying!!  We're gonna FENCE THE GARDEN!!!!  But NOT like last time!!

"THIS TIME, we're gonna lay low in the first half and let THEM wear themselves out!  They don't wanna hurt nobody, because they're a big fancy contender...oooooo, look at Meeechigan, they're contenders. HEY, we INVENTED football out here!

"So, we're gonna keep it vanilla in the first half and let 'em put a few on the board if we have to...30, maybe 40 tops.

"But in the second half, when they bring in the freshmen, we're KICKING THEIR ASS!  Lots of yards!  If we get to 16 yards, we'll have outrushed Sparty!  Imagine when the recruits see THAT!!  PROGRESS!!!  So, kinda like last time, but with YARDS!!!  Points would be great, too, but hey...

"This is important though.  You have to make it to the second half.  Got that?

"Artur!  If you see #10, don't run!  I like you, son, but you're not that fast. He will kill you because he is fast...and mean.   Just throw the ball as far as you can...probably to me, but not where I might get accidentally hit.  Got that?"

"Yes, coach."

"Also, REALLY watch out for #15, #3, #5, #14, #7 and holy hell #6 too...actually, men...and I gotta be honest here...because I love ya...avoid anyone wearing a number!

'''Cause, second half...YARDS!!"

"I don't wanna go out there, coach."

"Me neither, son.  Me neither.  But this is RUTGER, which interestingly is a Dutch cognate for Roger, and we will continue to play B1G ball until we get relegated back to the Big East, God willing!!"

I am just trying to imagine the recruiting pitch for the Scarlet Knights:

"Yes, we all know what it looks like, but in 20-30 years, we're hoping it looks a little better.....Iowa-ish perhaps, if get some lucky breaks."

Is a Recruiting Rutger when you get twice as many of the home team's visiting recruits than they do?

An Official Recruiting Rutger is the same thing but only with the official visit recruits.
