Dear flying spaghetti monster Please use your noodly appendage to speed the great kitchen timer in the sky to make it early fall. I'm not sure how much longer your humble cook can make it with everyone obsessing over high school juniors. Ramen

If you're looking for a positive comparison, might I suggest Kyle Williams of Arizona State? Like Dileo, Williams was a lightly-regarded multipurpose player coming out of high school. He was predominately used as a RB, but still managed 364 yards receiving in his senior year. His best attribute, it was thought, was his ability as a punt and kick returner. Since coming to ASU, he has found a home at slot receiver (although his return skills have proven to be every bit as valuable as expected). Through his hard work, he enters the year as the #1 receiving option, and as one of the players about whom Sun Devil fans are most excited. He is to ASU what Ted Gin Jr. was to OSU a few years ago. With a big year, he's capable of going from a 3* recruiting afterthought to a late-second round NFL draft choice.

Really. This type of post takes talent, creativity and an intimate understanding of the character you've created here on MGoBlog. The humor is intelligent and subtle, but not pretentious. You've outdone yourself. Bravo.

Both are short, and white... Then again you could say the same thing about most of my HS football team, in that most of us were short, and white.

Yeah except Shipley was a 4* star recruit with 4.4 speed and had offers from the big Texas schools and Oklahoma. Not to mention he is 6 feet tall and was ranked the #18 WR in the nation while playing in the Army All American game. Oh and he broke several Texas High School receiving records while he was at it. While I like the optimism in the camparison its a huge reach to compare those two.

How about Jeremy Bloom? I'm sure someone in the media will pick up on that comparison if he runs back a couple of kicks for TD's.
