Did Mich. Look at DB Ruben Lile?
He is a 3 star DB that plays for Cass Tech. He is picking his college tonight after the game against Harrison between Iowa, Wisconsin, and Toledo.
The reason I ask is because he is 6'3 200 pounds and runs a (reported) 4.5 and it's Cass Tech.
Thoughts?

I don't worship the star system, but when a 6'3", 200 pound defensive back who runs a 4.5 gets three stars from all the recruiting services, that should set off a few alarm bells.

He's at a school that gets tons of exposure. If he was a sure fire prospect with those measurables he would be.

On the flip side you have Wiscy and Iowa offering him, which sets off a few bells as well. He can't possibly be a CB in college but Safety or LB are a possibilty.

It's just that the previous poster acted like it was a huge slight. If his only "good" offers are Iowa and Wisconsin that's typical 3* stuff and he could turn into a stud but I think that there's a reason why he's a 3* from a high profile school like Cass Tech.

He has decent measurables, but his highlight film really isn't very impressive. And he didn't put up exceptional numbers last year, either.

They evaluated him and passed.
You can probably always assume that Michigan's coaches are aware of every FBS prospect coming out of Cass Tech. That doesn't mean the coaches will be interested in every one.

I'm not impressed. He doesn't have very good instincts. He's big and fast but doesn't look like a great football player.

to cover Burbridge tonight so we will see. TRich might have him most of the night but I heard when Boubacar had a chance to cover Smith the Cass coaches had him cover the other WR.
