foot and played almost half a game running on the side of his foot.

That's just a boo-boo to Devin

Link is HERE
"I was more surprised as anybody," Hoke said of seeing Gardner practice. "(His mobility) was awfully good - I think that's where my surprise came from. He practiced the whole time. ... He looked great."

#SaveJasonAvant is trending, havent looked into it. Might be threadworthy if someone does their homework.

I like Spieght's size, but I'm gonna have to say that Gardner would be my choice between the 3 of them for this season. For coming back from an injury, he looks like he hasn't lost a step.

You prefer M's quarterback be a very talented redshirt senior returning starter rather than a true freshman or a sophomore with one meaningful game of experience?

I'll take the guy who was sensational at times last year.
Also, don't forget Hoke said that Bellomy was also "in the mix". I take the rest of Hoke's "QB Competition" as seriously as that elaboration.

Why is this being down voted?

it wont matter if his O-line doesnt get better. Here's to hoping they can give him atleast 5 seconds vs MSU.

I could quarterback with 5 seconds. It's an eternity.

the new equipment guy is thorough.

I believe big Jon is still on the job for a bit longer.
Edit: Nope, my bad. I thought the picture of Jon at the MSU game said he was here a bit longer. His profile says he was done at the conclusion of the bowl game.

I first read this as, "the new equipment guy though..." and laughed hysterically. Thank you.

but what about all of the poor decisions he has made, take the sack, dust yourself back off and go back at it the next down. do not try to throw a desperation pass while you are getting sacked.. or look like a deer in headlights when all of your options are covered, he has 2 legs that he could of used to run for at leasr positive yardage. Sorry I support whoever plays but I am not a fan of DG.

"Gardner, under his third offensive coordinator..."
So, he has a degree in three years and will be learning his third offense in four seasons. Does Devin sound like a future head coach to anyone else here? He certainly does to me.

I'm so excited to see what Nussmier can do with DG and the rest of the O. If Borges was as bad as a lot of folks on this blog (me included) thought; I think Nuss had a real chance to get a lot more out of our talent.
He made AJ McCarron into a super efficient pocket passer. Granted; he had more talent on the line to work with. But I think the potential of our young players might show through way more with Nuss. Never underestimate the value of good coaching in terms of a team success, right?
