Love getting articles like these from Webb. Grimes has some very impressive offers, and Murphy seems like a guy who could grow into a very solid player.

I look forward to when we aren't forced to put these package deals together. Maybe forced isn't the right word, as RR & co. know what they are doing, and they wouldn't take a guy they didn't like...I guess like everyone else around here I want more *'s!

Insert inflammatory comment about Coaches knowing what they are doing and star rankings here[...]

With Murphys' physical traits and speed he sounds like could be a decent linebacker with a few years working with Barwis.

His list of schools isn't that impressive, but (assuming Rivals isn't completely useless), being in Florida's Top 100 means something. At first glance he sounds vaguely like one of those "small" defensive ends that used to go to Florida State, put on twenty pounds, and turn into wrecking balls.

The description of Murphy in the article doesn't make him sound like that bad of a prospect.
"At 6 foot 2½ and 230 pounds, Murphy doesn't yet possess prototypical defensive end size, but he plays with a level of intensity and tenacity that has made him extremely successful."
I like guys that come in with a chip on their shoulder and play hard every play. He would be an obvious redshirt candidate with his current size (unless he switches positions). But I can see him contributing to the team if he comes here.

Never mind the insignificant fact that Carr's dad and uncle played at ND.

Our defense definintely needs the added intensity that Webb describes Murphy as having...and I do like that 3.25 GPA. It seems like he has his head on right.
