One of my favorite Wolverines of all time. Glad to see him doing so well with that position switch.

Jax is an up and coming team. Hope Denard stays healthy for a full season next year. They could be a potential playoff team if they make the right moves in the off season.

I started the Jags defense today, and they most likely have propelled me to the semi-finals in one FFL and to first place (this week is last regular season game) in another league.

Jacksonville is a potential playoff team now. They are just 1 1/2 games behind Houston in the AFC South standings and will probably be only 1 game behind Houston and Indianapolis after tonight.

Thanks. His TD was Jacksonville's THIRD rushing TD of the year according to the announcer. That is not so many.

Watching Denard accelerate through a hole is one of the great joys of football.

I have been following Michigan since 1982 and never has there been a more beloved Wolverine than Denard.
December 13th, 2015 at 9:07 PM ^
Well, there actually was a Wolverine who was as beloved as Denard in his day, and oddly enough he graduated the year you started following Michigan. He wore #1.
December 13th, 2015 at 11:49 PM ^
AC was indeed beloved, but more for what he did on the field. You just did not know very much about him off the field as a person. It was a different era I guess.
This is just my opinion of course, but Denard transcends merely being a player more than anybody else I've ever seen play at Michigan. People care about Denard like he's a family member.

I would put Woodson up there with AC as well.
December 14th, 2015 at 3:27 PM ^
Desmond Howard was beloved as well.

You speak of them being bad like it's a new occurrence.

I could be wrong, but I think this was Denard's most productive game on a total yardage basis all year, and it was fun to watch him get in on the fun versus the Colts today. Of all the players of recent note that we've followed into the NFL as a fanbase, I will admit to following Robinson's career the closest - such a fun player to watch.

Jaguars RB Denard Robinson wants to be known as a power runner
The 215-pound Robinson ran over the 255-pound Werner to finish a 12-yard run. Stuck his shoulder under Werner's chin and dumped him pretty hard. "I never want to be a finesse guy," Robinson said. "I don’t want to get hit. I want to take the hit to them. That’s always been my rule for me running the ball. If I run the ball I want to take the hit to them. I don’t want to get hit."
