DeAnthony Arnett
So Dee Arnett was rumored to be at the Michigan Game in the Big House today to see Roy Roundtree catch 9 passes for 246 yards, a Michigan Record. However, on Arnetts twitter he said:
Good mourning world.... I'm up early about to get some breakfast.. Surprise school was Boise state lol I hope they beat Hawaii GO BLUE (
And...
It's pretty nice and quiet out here in Idaho.. Can't wait to see the blue turf later on.. Should be fun
Those tweets were from around noon today, which is right when the Michigan game was starting. His tweets make it sound like he was in Boise watching the Boise St. Game vs Hawaii. And is he using the GO BLUE in reference to Boise???
Also, Friday night his twitter said he was in Alabama...
Ok since everyone wants to know were I'm at... I'm in Alabama with homie saban
Is this dude just toying with everyone? He claims to have been in 3 states within 10 hours and 2 states at one time...
Can somebody bring some light to this?

Arnett is a teenager and probably has a great sense of humor. You are too wound up. Dee had some fun with all the attention as well. Do you think the same about him or are you cool with Dee since he will be here in a couple of months? Hope Arnett wants to join in the fun at the Big House, if not, I wish him good luck.

He isn't coming to Ann Arbor. Period.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:43 PM ^
might not be so clearly the case anymore.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:36 PM ^
umm...no...
actually, he is. consider us the favorite. he was a michigan lock until he panicked due to the spread. now that panic is over. he was a monster M fan growing up. put two and two together...that is all im gonna tip you off to to what i know. those official visits out to california and such, were a 17yo going to have a good time. he is blue.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:35 PM ^
and yes, Arnett has been toying with people for a while now...however, it wouldn't surprise me if he was not there today
November 6th, 2010 at 9:36 PM ^
Dude is a jokester. He's got crazy skills though.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:36 PM ^
He was at the Michigan game according to Tom.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:38 PM ^
That makes it very simple........I believe Tom
November 6th, 2010 at 9:37 PM ^
November 6th, 2010 at 9:39 PM ^
he missed a good game
Edit: maybe not
November 6th, 2010 at 9:38 PM ^
TomVH said he was in Ann Arbor. I trust TomVH.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:41 PM ^
That was taken this morning. He was seen by the GBW staff in the stadium. He was there.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:41 PM ^
GBW has a picture with Arnett at the game today. He was there.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:41 PM ^
Great job done by the coaches for even getting him to take an unofficial visit. There is always a chance until he signs his letter of intent.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:41 PM ^
He was absolutely at the game. Saw him walking out giving an interview to Sam Webb, and DUH TOM SAID HE WAS SO HE WAS.
He's been fucking with people on Twitter for a while now.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:44 PM ^
he was there. I don't think he'll end up blue but he's not going to Boise State, come on.

I don't see Boise State on his list anywhere. The kid is a practical joker, he knows that the fans are hanging on his every tweet. He loves to toy and get a good laugh. Personally i find him funny. As to wether or not he will play for U of M, only time will tell. After a day like today though, our chances can only improve. Just my opinion, take it FWIW.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:44 PM ^
It makes me sick how much I care!!
November 6th, 2010 at 9:46 PM ^
I doubt he will sign with UM, but I trust TomVH when he says Arnett planned on being in A2 for the game.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:52 PM ^
I hope that Arnett comes to Ann Arbor but, realistically, if he doesn't then some other receivers are going to put up NFL numbers in this offense. If he chooses to go elsewhere so be it...
A question for DeAnthony Arnett would be to consider who is more likely the higher selection in their draft year for the NFL...Ronald Johnson at USC or Roy Roundtree from Michigan?
RichRod has something good going on offensively here...Arnett would be smart to step up.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:57 PM ^
Will be drafted higher.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:04 PM ^
Stonum is a better projection for the NFL.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:29 PM ^
I'll take that action. In a world where Anthony Gonzales goes 32nd overall...apparently production matters. Roundtree will be similarly sized in his draft year and with better production. I wouldn't project ROJO into the first round (nor Roundtree) but I'll be interested to see the outcomes.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:34 PM ^
Gonzalez has NFL caliber athleticism, speed, and size, whether we like it or not. Roundtree is not the same physical specimen that Rojo is, and I seriously doubt that he'll continue to produce enough in this offense to make up the ground in their physical differences.
November 6th, 2010 at 9:56 PM ^
No DeAnthony is definetly messing with people. I saw him outside Gate 1 today at the Michigan game sporting Michigan gear. He watched the receivers go through drills before the game and i saw him walking around Crystler after the game with a big smile on his face.
November 6th, 2010 at 11:36 PM ^
I'm really sorry to do this, thanks for the information and all, but you're clearly a Michigan fan so you should know, and you're one of many to do this, but come on guys it's Crisler. Not Chrysler, not Cristler, not Crystler. I hate to be the spelling guy, but this is such a pet peeve of mine. Just like how people spell it Good Time Charlie's.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:01 PM ^
his tweeting was obviously a tease. So, being a fun-loving guy, this was obviously the right game to attend. Must have been fun for him, whatever his intentions.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:05 PM ^
That "SpartanGA" guy replying to a few of Tom's tweets is a fucking assbag.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:21 PM ^
"Nice frosted tips. 1998 called, they want their hairdo back."
November 6th, 2010 at 10:46 PM ^
It's called an "Inferiority Complex".
November 6th, 2010 at 11:28 PM ^
He's a semi-regular poster on Valenti's former website -- sportsinferno.com -- and he has more posts in Michigan football threads than he does any others.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:12 PM ^
young black kid in section 21 about row 2 decked out in Spartan gear. Anyone know who that was?
November 6th, 2010 at 10:25 PM ^
Why do people who clearly don't support either team (folks who show up in MSU/OSU gear) even show up at games? Well maybe they enjoy watching football but why wear rival apparel? What are they trying to prove?
Also, I understand that Maize winter type clothing isn't a hot seller and maybe people don't want to buy blue stuff either but why wear a oh, I don't know, red jacket/hoodie? Seriously, it's the color of our biggest rival and you're wearing it to a home game. Wear white or black or anything besides red.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:35 PM ^
I live in CA and am the biggest wolverine fan in CA. I ALWAYS rock my M gear whenever I go to a USC or UCLA game because that is my team. I love college football and love taking my boys to experience it in person.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:25 PM ^
he must be a recruit.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:28 PM ^
was that yes, he did look like a recruit. A 17 year old kid in gear that doesn't match either of the schools playing, sitting right up by the field on the home side? That doesn't scream "recruit" to you?
Mentioning that he was black was simply a descriptor. Perhaps someone knows who he was.
November 7th, 2010 at 10:27 AM ^
But I saw him too.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:30 PM ^
It was Drew Sharp with face paint. They took away his press credentials, so he got desperate.
November 6th, 2010 at 11:20 PM ^
at Utah today. The best shot during the show was when they panned behind Desmond and some dude in the crowd was wearing a #23 Michigan jersey, plain as day. Michigan stuff is like a good pair of jeans, you can rock them anywhere, anytime...
November 6th, 2010 at 10:22 PM ^
I transcribed Sam talking to Arnett at UM after the game.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:34 PM ^

We have a ton of ground to get back. I'm willing to bet, unless this weekend REALLY tickled his fancy, he's headed west.
November 6th, 2010 at 11:16 PM ^
DGDestroys or anyone else, isn't Arnett suppose to decide fairly soon, i.e some time in the next few weeks. Also, has he been on all of his officials?
November 6th, 2010 at 11:21 PM ^
I heard a rumor he's deciding Thursday? I think if we have a shot with him, he'll push that back.
November 6th, 2010 at 11:25 PM ^
That's what I thought, I don't remember where I heard that. I don't expect him to come here, would love to have him. I just hope he doesn't go to MSU. We have a good shot with Watkins and have Conway already. Not sure where I heard this, is Conway good to go with grades. I hope so.

I have a feeling that DeAnthony is pulling a Big Will/ Dee Hart except this is 100x more confusing.
November 6th, 2010 at 10:47 PM ^
Imagine Big Will if he'd have had a Twitter account...the board would still be in recovery.
