Channel the noodle!!
Yes, it is surprising he did not just flip it for double what he paid. And shouldn't his name rightly be on the special teams coaches office?
It begs the question, why havent we opened these up to corporations as well? The "Dave Brandon Cornerbacks Coach presented by Kraft Macaroni" has a nice ring to it.
Can anyone help me out with twitter emoticons? What does two hands making a field goal post mean? Or the red "100"? Strictly context driven?
Not sure if serious, but I'll bite.
First two hands making the "field goal post" is I guess you can say a shocked emoticon.
If I'm not mistaken the red 100 means "keep it 100."
I'm pretty sure the field goal post one means something is good or went well and 100 is also a positive thing.
It's not even the "David and [wife's name] Brandon Cornerback Coach". She must feel SHAFTED.
It might sounds just a little more...oh....personable if it were the "David And Jan Brandon Cornerbacks Coach", I suppose, but perhaps they didn't want the title to seem too ostentatious. My question was more along that lines of whether or not it is a good idea to tell CBs to "Avoid The Noid" and skip their coverage assignments.
We better have damn good cornerbacks.
Does that mean Dave is paying his salary out of pocket? That would be pretty nice of him.
@CoachRoyM no pressure. Just remember who's the boss, who's the coach, and who's the "coach." See you at film session.

april fool's joke?
Not sure, but the picture was posted 2 hours ago.
Oh my God.
My exact words seeing this.
Awaiting angry mgoblog mob.
Is going to shit himself when he sees this.
Personally I liked the parody accoung more than the picture. Either way just win games.
Nothing says "The Team, The Team, The Team" like adorning someone else's office door with your name on a plaque. #theADtheADtheAD

Not the same David Brandon.
David Brandon (NTDB)?
That would help us a lot
help
I can see it now.
Future named things at Michigan-
- the Harry Newman Memorial Starting Quarterback
- the Drew Dileo Threat
However, this could be just the office that is named after DB. Everything in Michigan Stadium is named after someone. Literally everything in the towers.
Add a "presented by Coke Zero." I wonder how much it costs to sponsor the David Brandon's Cornerback Coach's Office's trash can? Would it be the "Toasted Yostie's Dave Brandon's Cornerback Coach's Office's Trash Can" or the "Dave Brandon's Cornerback Coach's Office's Toasted Yostie's Trash Can?"
TIL the David Brandon CB Coach follows me on Twitter.
best April Fool's joke this year
Roy thought he was promoted. April fools!
Why not have programmable LCD displays and an ongoing auction showing how the whateverthefuck chair, room, latrine, etc. is now named for the highest bidder.
They named the office after him. Nothing wrong with that.
I thought that he had endowed the cornerback's coach, much as the head coach is now an endowed position named after two people whose names I forget.
Anyway, if I were Dave Brandon I'd donate to name my own office so that the text read:
David Brandon
Athletics Director's office
David Brandon
That would be great.
No pressure at all since Brandon never saw the field. If that's the standard for the position it shouldn't be too hard to coach guys so they never get playing time,
They'd name a toilet in the stadium in his honor so I could shit in it.
Down voting this is un-american.
No one is stopping you from making a fake sign that says "Dave Brandon Urinal" and putting it on the wall in one of the stadium bathrooms. I think that would be hilarious if you could actually make it look really official and see how long it stays up.
With a pic of his face near the drain!
I'd say let's pool our money together and get the...
