Dantonio is a Dousche

Submitted by sedieso on
This guy is sure talking a lot of shit. After the loss to PSU, they asked him if he was embarrassed that Joe Pa ran up the score. His response was "I would be embarrassed if we were 3-9 going in to this game" Someone needs to pop this guy in the freaking mouth.

comment....hey dantonio...IT'S BECAUSE YOU FOCUS ON MICHIGAN AND NOTHING ELSE. Maybe if you actually gave a f'ing shit about your own team, you'd have gone 12-0 and not gotten raped in your two biggest games. If your attitude stays like this, you'll be getting raped in big games for years.

them next year without Javon Ringer aka their entire offense. He has no decent successor. Their QB is shit. The defense is nothing to write home about. I'll be shocked if they break .500.

i didn't give two shits what MSU did in their games before. But Dantonio is as bad as Charlie Weis. Hey makes you want to see him fail. I hope he fails miserably. In fact, I hope he takes the Tennessee job so I can laugh at MSU fans for worshiping that scUM and laugh at Dantonio when he gets smashed by Florida, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, Bama, ect.

I'm not from Michigan, have only met a few friends of friends from MSU and have no daily interaction with anyone from MSU. Basically, I don't care about them, but understand that people from Michigan view it as a major rivalry. The problem is when a douche coach talks sh*t about us instead about his own team. Every MSU loss is now awesome to me! Go Blue.

i love it and hope idiots like him keep giving our kids bulletin board material to look at all off season. i have a feeling we're gonna come out with a major chip on our shoulders next year which is something we sorely missed this year...

They'll break .500, but they're going to be that team that finishes 4th in the big ten every year, never a really bad team, but never good. They'll be 7-5 or 8-4 consistently, never better because they'll never have the talent to get over the hump, and never worse because they'll have enough gimme's to get by. I'd be surprised with anything less.

State fans are hoping one of the two recruits in this class take over. I doubt that's going to work -- it isn't like those two really any more highly regarded than the Guff/Shaw combo, and I don't think they could have carried the load either this year. They're basically hoping for the Adrian Peterson scenario, which just almost never happens.

what I thought. Every team has that shot of landing the sleeper future NFL legend and being awesome. I just don't think this is very likely (esp for Sparty) and they will be back to mediocre next season. Plus, if Dantonio stubbornly tries to force a guy to repeat Ringer's performance, he will break said person in half. He strikes me as the type of braindead coach that would do this.

The combo they have coming in is a bigger back and a more typical back, I think (it's the two in-state guys), so I'm presuming if those two end up supplanting the upperclassmen he'll use them the same as he did Caulcrick/Ringer. The one guy they put in to spell Ringer fumbled on like his second or third touch against us and was never seen again in that game. I can see why they think/hope the freshmen will be playing -- it seems neither the fans nor the coaches think much of the guys they currently have left after Ringer.

Despite his words it was pretty obvious that he was either embarassed or extremely pissed off about the way Penn State ran up the score (which they HAD TO DO if they have any hope of getting back into the BCS conversation if things break their way) by the way that he handled the clock managmeent at the end of that game (back to back timeouts with about 15 seconds left and down by about a ton). It was so bad that the commentators on ABC were even calling Dantonio out for it. Not sure if anyone else saw that or not...

JoePa comes off as such a good guy to me that I actually enjoy cheering for Penn State to rep the Big Ten. I can't cheer for MSU anymore because of Dantonio. He deserves to fail. He's just an all around dick. I can't root for OSU just because of the rivalry, but Tressel doesn't really bother me that much. (except for when he beats us)...Weis as well, is a smug arrogant coach. He also deserves his losses.

Not to rain on your parade or anything, but I'm pretty sure he was just reversing the record for MSU. I think you guys are getting a little paranoid.

I think this is Dantonio's plan. He knows Michigan fans could care less about him, while they root against OSU and ND constantly. In order to elevate his team to the next level, he has to have a rival who is really pissed at him constantly. For that reason, he says a ton inflammatory stuff, even when to do so is entirely vacuous, in hopes of getting on Michigan's radar.

The guy is a little bitch. As far as recruiting goes, he is doing a decent job I have to give credit where it is due. We are gonna battle it out with him for the services of Austin White and William Gholston next year.

that all msu tries to do is beat us...that is their sole purpose in life...big ten titles, rose bowls, it means nothing as long as they try to beat their big brother did you see how hard they cheered when they beat us when they were FAVORED against us?

MichFan1997

them for cheering when they won a game...i cheer hard when my teams win games, even when they're favored. The problem is that they still cheered against Michigan when Michigan winning could have helped them have a shot at the Rose Bowl. That comment about "look at your feet...in five years they'll be in the Rose Bowl"...no they won't, because he roots against teams that can help him get there.

Guys, chill out. The idiot clearly wasn't talking about us because there aren't 13 games in the regular big ten season. How could a team be 3-9 going into a big ten regular season game?

MSU boards seem to think that it is more of a reference to the opposite to their 9-3 record. http://www.spartantailgate.com/forums/msu-red-cedar-message-board/35111… seems reasonable but dantonio is still a gigantic douche who is mostly irrelevant but stays on our minds by saying really childish things from time to time. also, one poster says there are "MSU obsessed UM fans". I really don't think those exist

the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle coach wasn't embarrassed by the blow out. I'm glad he'd rather talk crap about us. I'm glad he and every other idiot takes joy in beating us in our worst year in recent memory. It'll just make me cheer and laugh louder when we get this ship turned around and start hanging 50-70 points on their asses every year. Enjoy the trash talk Ninja Turtle dude cause they are numbered.

I was pissed at first, but after hearing it a few times I really think he was just flipping their record (9-3) around. I really doubt a major college football coach would be thinking about a team that they beat earlier in the year after get waxed. I'm sure at that point he was more focused on how to get his team back up and thinking positive for their bowl game. Now, if it WAS a dig on Michigan that is pretty strange.
