Thoughts on where Ty would be on the RB depth chart if he became eligible before the App State game?

I imagine that he is taking very few reps at this time.

We dont fully know when all the paperwork even got to the NCAA. A couple of weeks after he announced he was transferring, Michigan still said it was going through he filing process as there was alot of medical data and reports that needed to be filed in order to document his mother's condition.

Although this falls under the "Circumstances Beyond Control" section of the waiver criteria in the NCAA Division I Handbook, you have to provide sufficient medical documentation even if it is an immediate family member's illness or condition which prompted the transfer. It's quite trifling and unnecessary - I definitely agree with the sentiment here - but that's the rule unfortunately.

Even if it were not medical, like a financial calamity in the family, they would still demand appropriate documentation such, if it came to that, a copy of the bankruptcy filing and other supporting records.

to a certain extent.  But I guess my thoughts that information of some things like a little more than a doctor's note should be sufficient.  When I read "medicll data and reports"  the post seemed like the NCAA required reems of data. . .Like how we get put on probation for not appropriately filing Cara forms for stretching too long.  IMHO Ty Isaac is trying to transfer and he has a legit excuse. . . As opposed to the endless litany fo nefarious endeavors committed on a daily basis at other programs that aren't adequately policed by the same institution. . .to wit, granting a waiver and insisting on making it complicated is what the NCAA chooses to care about. . .

Granted, the amount of tape I've seen on him is small, but based on what I've seen he'd be #1.  He seems to have the best combination of skills the staff wants.  He's a big guy and can run with power, but he's also deceptively fast.  He can block and catch the ball out of the backfield.  He's not a highlight real type guy, but he seems very good with picking holes and his vision and he looks very smooth when he runs.  I think he's our best back.

Did you see he picked UM #6 this year?  Everyone gave him crap last year when he said UM would beat OSU.  Granted, he was wrong, but his score was a heck of a lot closer than most who thought OSU would win by 14.

I played flag football with Drake in middle school, and even then he had a spin move that dropped the opposing coaches' jaws. I'd be happy to see an A2 kid get some playing time at RB, although to be perfectly honest I still think our other options are better.

sharp in his interview. He looks good in his clips. He's a strong runner and is shifty with speed. I think Justice looks good too. We have some great depth at RB. I would not mind seeing Ty RS for the future.

I'm so fired up form this team. I really think Michigan Football is going to surprise the doubters.
