Congratulations to us for good juju. My contribution:

I know I did my part to properly align the moon and stars on Saturday, including wearing u-trou in the opponents color (so their color is under my ass), and watching on our ( lucky) den tv set.

What good luck rituals did you apply?

Went to the gym during the game.  Have done it all three years of the current streak.  Gives me something productive to do and helps calm the nerves.

Also is 3 for 3 in terms of winning percentage when I do this.

I didn't watch the game but to be honest, that was probably more for me and my nerves than it was for the fan base and the team. We recorded it and watched after we knew the outcome.

I have gone to one game each of the last three years (wash 21, MSU last year and OSU this year). Each time I have bought a sweatshirt, looks like I have to continue the tradition of one game and a new sweatshirt until they lose to OSU.

Had my t-shirt with Go Blue in Hindi on; managed to make my seat in time for all but one UM play on offense. Stuck my legs out in front of me on D so that I wouldn't clamp down and try to put breaks on when the other team ran the ball. Took my baby aspirin at the beginning of both halves.

I frantically flipped the broadcast off and on every few minutes for awhile, just merely testing to see if me watching the game influenced the luck of the team.  Adjusted on the fly every drive or so if things were going favorable or not.  You know.  Totally normal stuff.

I occupied myself with errands and avoided watching or checking the score (and the corresponding heart attack that would go with it).  I've been doing this for all of the big games lately and it's worked out well.  My friends were driving by as I was walking my dogs at about 4 p.m. and they stopped and (with huge smiles) told me it was safe to check the score and watch.  That was a glorious moment.

While rock collecting in Michigan's upper peninsula, we stopped by Wolverine Mine Shaft #2 and picked up a hunk of Wolverine Sandstone (#9).    I rubbed that stone like a genie lamp throughout the 2016 game to no avail.  That was the last time I worked the superstition angle other than picking clothes or food that feel right.

I do not allow blue corn chips into the house for big rivalry games.  You can blame me for the start of the Dantonio years.  I thought a bowl of maize and blue tortilla chips would be good karma. I was wrong. I used to open them after the game but sometimes my wife and hostess would find them and to my horror actually serve them during the game.  So no, not allowed in the house and were absent this weekend.

I watched the game only after it finished, just like the last two years. I did see the score with 1 minute left and it took all of my  focus, grit, and determination to maintain my watch-delay until only after the game, but I did. And it led to a Michigan victory. You’re welcome.

Drove 4 hours through mountain snow to make it to a buddy’s place in time for kickoff.

Found creative new ways to say “OHowIHateOhioState” through lavish profanity.

My wife is 2-0 vs OSU at home. The first being 21 which secured me getting season tickets. It was a no brainer this year after we beat MSU together last year too. Somebody get her a ticket to Columbus next November!

Posted this in another thread prior to the game about traditions.

We had our first child in September 2021. Her first game was the night game against Washington, watched from the hospital room at age ~36 hours. In her lifetime we are 3-0 against OSU.

We had our second child just over an hour before the kickoff vs. ECU. We named him Roman. Roman Wilson had 3 touchdowns that game. In my son’s lifetime, we are now 1-0 against OSU.

I’m not superstitious but I am a little stitious, and I think these two are good-luck charms.

You should all be thanking me for the victory.

Wore almost exactly what I wore two years ago to the game...down to my ski pants and jacket (which unfortunately is gray...but I had the hood of my yellow sweatshirt prominently sticking out of my jacket).  Like in 2021, I was not about to let weather get in the way of my comfort...even if confronted with a cold, ten-OT, five-hour game.

Had the same group with me...which included my wife (1991 UM Grad), daughter, (2026 UM Grad), and my daughter's friend (2026 Clemson Grad).

Wore the same M shirt from M den that I bought at beginning of 2021 football season.  Have wore every game since.  Also, sat in the same chair.  I did my part!

Wore maize block M long sleeve tee under my blue block M sweatshirt, my maize watch band, the maize & blue paracord bracelet I made, the maize & blue plaid coat my daughter gave me, and the camo block M cap my son gave me, and my Oakleys that another son gave me.  I had my morning coffee in my "The Team, The Team, The Team" Bo coffee mug a friend named Bo gave me.  I had a pre-game dump before leaving for The Game.  My wife and I cheered at the game and kissed after every M score, as we've done since our freshman year in 1977.  I actually prayed we'd win, and then for Zack when he was injured.

Left the room when JJ started the final 7 minute drive and listened to my wife's play-by-play to improve Karma until the kneel down. It has worked for many situations including the Illinois kick where my Brother-in-law demanded I stay in the other room to insure the win.

Sometimes you just have to change it up and yes I worry way too much about this sport.

Every Saturday this year, I've been in my Orange and black basketball shorts and a Rip Hamilton Jersey. Eating a Wendy's Baconator Large Combo with a Cherry Dr Pepper (mixed with Canadian Club). Halfway thru the 3rd Quarter, I pour a CC with Diet Mt Dew. My fiancee is under the Michigan Blanket, snoozing by the 2nd Quarter. And I am texting my mom throughout the game. Every. Damn. Week.

I did my part my yelling my ass off every time OSU was on offense! We all yelled hard and stood on our feet for the entire game! It was my only game to attend this season and one of the loudest games I ever attended! Bet!

While attending the game, I layered lots of good luck T-shirts to stay warm.  I wore the Team 144 shirt I was lucky to grab in the Tshirt toss at the season opener, which I have had on during every subsequent game this season.  I also wore a Victors 42-27 T-shirt and Driving in Ohio T-shirt in honor of our last two wins over OSU, as well as a Woodson jersey for good measure to harken back to my student days and our last national championship.

I wore my 2003 Michigan student t-shirt. It's been pretty damn lucky in big games. Of note: I couldn't find it for many years. I thought I lost it. No joke -- these were most of the RichRod and Hoke years.

I dumped $250 in free bets on OSU ML to jinx them and give us the win. Also had zero alcohol during the Game. I did both of these the last 3 years so I will continue to do them until we lose.

Well, standing in the 3rd quarter I turned to talk to my Wife who was sitting to my left, there was a Buckeye sitting to my right.  So his face was right at my butt level.  I blasted him and let him chew on it the rest of the game.  Thick and juicy.  Hope he likes meat loaf.
