Cincy will hold for the last possesion in 3OT!!!
WTF!??!!
I heard that Indiana lost.
THERE WE GO!
WAIT WHAT!???
got all of their scoring out of the way today. Good Lord they smoked Illinois.
Damn. 4OT
Good God that was something else...
..can't believe that just happened.
This Cincy UConn game is amazing
Turn it on if you can, 4OT after a 0.2 sec 3/4 court shot.

This Uconn/Cincy game is unbelieveable.
with a 4-point play.
Reminds me of that 6OT 2009 UCONN/Cuse game in the Big East tourney
at 3OT with a 3 point lead and 0.8s left.
Dang I've had fun watching this game. I wish it would go to another OT
but we are still out of most brackets. That UConn win / full court heave might keep us out of the tournament. i do not understand how st mary's is ahead of us. I do not understand how like 5 of these teams are ahead of us. FML.

that's west coast time.
I think the composite has been updated. It doesn't mean that all of the brackets making it up have been updated.
many of the brackets in the matrix have not been updated yet, but a lot of them have and we're still only in 18 of them. a lot of ground to make up if the consensus is right, which it shouldn't be, because that is fucking stupid. we are better than all those teams.
That's pretty old. Vandy still being listed is a dead giveaway, as they have lost a bunch of games recently and were knocked out by UT to start the SEC tourney.
Am I the only one who believes that miracle UConn 3/4 court shot is what will ultimately keep us out of the NCAA's??

We've just won two games on last-second shots ourselves, don't forget.
+1 Insightful.
The really average season.
I don't think that keeps UM out. It's more likely that another team on the bubble (like, say, GW) would fall out of contention. Now, if UConn keeps winning, then sure, that might hurt.
I think we want the winner of UConn-Cincy to win the AAC tournament. Because SMU is on a tourney ban, one of the AAC bubble teams was going to get the auto-bid. I think UConn is the best scenario for us. I don't think we want Temple, Tulsa, or Houston to win the AAC because I think Michigan has better chance getting an at-large in comparison to those 3 teams than UConn.
And UConn winning will help our RPI. It may be only a small effect, but the margin is small between the teams we are being compared to.
Temple is the AAC regular season champ, but their resume is weak. RPI #57 & KenPom #81. I don't get how they are an automatic. They have a home win over SMU and a sweep of Cincy and UConn. That's it.
Temple and Wichita State are baffling to me. I think that Pitt, Syracuse, South Carolina, UConn, St Bona, Michigan, Vandy and Cincinnati (in that order) have better profiles than them.
Dumbass Cinci players celebrating near the scorer's table while UCONN drills an uncontested 3 from 3/4 court to tie. Fucking impicles just pushed us one spot lower. Have one person there to stop his momentum and then celebrate like assholes.
They did have someone going toward him, and you definitely don't want to foul. That was a crazy shot; nothing Cincy could have done there that any other team in the country would have.
