I woke up to low-60s and a cool breeze. It actually feels like football weather down here finally. Just turned on GameDay with a cup of coffee, the AC off, and the windows open. I love this time of year.

I enjoyed the beautiful ATL weather doing yard work! Watching the scores on the FOX app - Maryland was in the game for 3 quarters. The OSU doesn’t appear to be that good.

I would LOVE to go to the Texas State Fair and just be there for the game day atmosphere. It's one of the bucket list thingy's. I mean, who doesn't want to try out all that delicious fried food? Deep fried beer? Deep fried butter? And everything else you can imagine...

Turns out you can deep fry just about anything. I had deep fried turkey for Thanksgiving one year and it was pretty damn good.

It seems the contract with the Cotton Bowl Stadium ends soon (2025 or 26) and there is talk of moving the game to Jerry World.

I’m in lovely Lake Geneva, Wisconsin for a wedding. The Badgers host Rutgers later today - about an hour away from here.
The temperature this morning was.. 39 degrees. It’s getting cool pretty quickly.

Those dirty looks may happen - but, if the reception tonight has a tv with NBC on it, I’ll be content.
The bride’s family are close friends, and I have a bit of empathy for the father - who is an ND fan / alum. A couple of weeks ago, one of his nephews was married - the same evening as the OSU v ND game, so - he was stuck at a reception when he’d have preferred to be in the stands.
My wedding anniversary is in May. I hope our daughter decides on a late Spring / early Summer date - whenever she’s ready to cross the aisle.

I get that she's doing what she's told to do - but the fact remains that she's getting these stories because she CAN'T do anything else. She knows nothing about sports. Nothing.
She just read a paragraph about Galludet's new helmets, and it sounded like she read it in a sound studio. Because she's terrible. She is the worst 'sports' reporter that I've ever seen! There are so many more deserving women that should have that job in front her. There are women that deserve to be sitting at that desk with Reece before McAfee, for that matter...
We do agree that CGD has spiraled into near-irrelevance when compared to Fox Game Day...

Pretty annoying that the YouTube TV multiview has "field pass with Pat McAfee" instead of just regular Oklahoma Texas. He looks annoying, and all they're doing is making the game smaller.

Funny enough, Corso is the only one who hasn't lost a lot of respect from me for the same reason he's not on that much more. He's simply quite old these days and no longer fully there so you can't blame him.

Seriously, all you have to do to understand how good OSU is this year is watch their defense. "Soft" is an understatement as they have collapsed - not only against us - but in a ton of games the last few years. Their offense will move the ball ------ Their defense ? TBD. We'll know more after today as they go against a very explosive Maryland offense. That Maryland team is dangerous

The clips of LSU's defense last week against Ole Miss that was just shown on Gameday is incredibly embarassing. Defensive backs running into each other. Laziness. Defensive line lining up 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage at the snap. How in the heck are they still ranked, while Maryland (5-0) is unranked? Oh, I know... good ole $EC bias.

Yeah. A lot of people say Fox Big Noon is better, but you have to listen to Urban. I also can't stand Leinert. At least Reggie Bush isn't on there anymore.
