Best of luck to him,  I guess we'll see what happens with Asiasi.

Iowa State is a bold choice for sure, but Matt Campbell seems like an up and comer, who knows?  could be fun.

It also may have been that there wasn't room for Allen after Eubanks committed.

I mean, the run on Crystal Balls for Allen did not begin in earnest until Eubanks got to Ann Arbor.

Asiasi, on the other hand, is simply a can't-miss prospect.

Was going to say, this is the first time since Nauta we missed on a guy, but not sure we'd have taken him.  I think its been since Nauta.

There has not been much disapointment this year.  Good job by Harbaugh.

and going to a school like Iowa State will probably give Allen more opportunity to show what he can do compared to some higher profile programs where the competition is stiffer.  Best of luck to the young man.

I'm sure many people here (including myself) assumed it wasn't a "committable offer" or we had him "on hold" pending other recruits higher on the board. Maybe he liked Iowa State better, or figured it TE was getting too crowded here

Darn, really hoped they'd be able to take him too, but oh well. Eubanks seems like an upcoming Funchess-like pass catcher. Best of luck to him though at Iowa State, Matt Campbell seems to being a great job there so far with recruiting.
