I don't think they changed Les at all actually

stupid Pistons and their refusal to tank properly
rundown of Michigan's riser

so much for that
This list is completely arbitrary and not a genuine analysis of the relative merits of state fossils.
will be michigan's highest pick in a while
money has to go somewhere
I am only motivated by people who have no opinion about me.
the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection
but I thought that draft was supposed to be incredibly loaded?
Headline kinda says it all.
"I love him, he's a great coach, he's a great mentor, he's a great friend. He's every single thing you want a college coach to be, and he does it flawlessly." -David Molk
A couple days ago there was a Pistons-related post that brought up the idea of players we hated in college now playing for teams we like and how do you root for them etc. I have a harder time the other way around. I saw this and my second thought was "man, that sucks for Charles, he's kind of old so I hope it's not career-threatening." My first was, "I wonder if the Lions play Green Bay in that time." I really wish Woodson had made his professional name on any team but that one. Even Dallas.

i am fortunate to be a Browns fan. Get well soon, Charles.
ALWAYS remember the golden rule: He who has the gold, makes the rules
As a Bears fan, Charles drives me nuts. Especially his "We just play and Jay with throw it to us"... because they really did have Cutler's number. (The fact that Cutler gets the crap beaten out of him because of our joke of an O line had more to do with it than anything)
But as a Michigan fan, damn. Why can't my pro teams draft all of my favorite college players?
"Over? Did you say, over? Nothing is over until we decide it is!"
I know he plays for GB, and I hate GB, but I'll be damned if this doesn't make me sad.

I hate to hear about the broken collar bone. Hope he heals really fast. Wonder what the excuse will be this year when Detroit Lions get beat by Greenbay?
Coach Hoke says "Hi"!
"It's the Lions" - the perfect excuse, any time, every time.
that knocked him out of the Super Bowl? Okay, which angry gods handle this body part?
You've never heard of the ACWCBHG? Where have you been?
I broke my left collar bone twice -- about four years apart back when I was a younger man -- and let me just say thing: ouch.
It's a bitch of a break. Can't really set it. Just immobilize best you can and endure.
Forget about tying your own shoes. It's impossible to reach down with a broken collar bone.

I second this. After I broke mine during IM soccer, i stopped going to even my afternoon classes.
get well soon Sir Charles. i hope this does not end his career.
relatively injury free for a very long career.
15 seasons is a hell of a long time to play in the NFL and be as good as he's been.
Indeed! Still, I hope he heals and has as many seasons as he wishes to play.
But it makes me wonder ... on a football team, which position is most prone to injuries?
Placekicker is probably the least injury prone. There have been some really long-serving PKs in the league.
I'm thinking maybe running back? Since they're the target of a lot of intense hits.
I was going to say safety or linebacker, but then I recall what Butch Woolfolk told his son Troy about it being better to be the hitter rather than the hittee.
I don't have any stats to back this up but IIRC Woodson has actually had to deal with many injuries over his career. I would like to see where he stands on the all-time list had he been healthy.
His career has been great, regardless. I am trying to get the original of this so I can have it framed for my office.
Charles, you've had a legendary run. HOF worthy. You've climbed every mountain and have gotten every piece of hardware possible. I think It's time to hang it up and have your day at Michigan Stadium where you're honored as a Michigan Legend.

As others may be on this board, I am a huge Woodson fan, but perhaps not so much of a Packers fan. Needless to say, his leadership in the Packers defense has been apparent, particularly in their rise to a competent defense statistically from the beginning of the year to now, and I am sure he will be missed in their backfield. Get well soon, Charles.

Of course i am a huge Woodson fan, but i was thrilled when he became a Packer (obviously i am Packers fan). I am sure that this second part won't get me too much sympathy from the majority.
