JB is a true blue Michigan man.  But at some point, when a play by play guy has "lost a step", isn't it time to retire and let a new generation of broadcasters do their thing?  Listening to Brent Musberger in his last couple of years was painful.  And if you have heard George Blaha do a Sparty game on the radio - he doesn't know what yard line they are on many times during the game.

Though must admit - laughed my ass off when Brent was lusting after AJ McCarron's girlfriend in the national championship game a few years back.  Brent may have been going a little loony - but clearly his eyesight remains 20/20...

Three interesting assumptions:

* Charles Woodson would _really_ like to live in Ann Arbor. (Hey -- I'm very fond of it, but there are many arguably greener pastures available.)

* CW would really like to coach football (and recruit).

* CW would be good at coaching football (and recruiting).

I know people clamor for Woodson and Brady to return as coaches, but are HoF usually ever good coaches? It's quite common in soccer, but very rare in American pro sports (Mike Ditka is the only one I can think of). Being amazing at specific skills and techniques has nothing to do with how good of a coach you are.

And blowhards like Stephen A. Smith remain on ESPN.

Surprised they didn't hold on to Jemele Hill.  She was a treat.

Hoping Charles lands a good gig somewhere else.

ESPN has become a shithole anyway.

I watch the Sportscenter with SVP at midnight because I like SVP.

Other than that it's shit except when our games get put there.
