That is quite the spread between Beilein, Painter and the other two, almost as if it was like, "OK, two more need to be in the this round, even if they have no shot at winning.", kind of like the Final Four in some years.

Voted, BTW

It could very well be that Michigan State, Ohio State and Notre Dame fans have joined Purdue’s fans in causing the increased voting for Purdue's Matt Painter.

After Tom Izzo and Mike Brey were eliminated, as long as John Beilein stayed in the lead, Michigan State and Notre Dame fans apparently started voting for Painter. Now that Thad Matta's vote total is down at 3%, it’s clear that Izzo's voters have been registering home-state antagonism, Brey's voters have been registering home-state favoritism and Ohio State voters have abandoned Matta to join Painter's voters.

So, it's one school against four as the voting enters the final week and the two leaders remain neck and neck down the stretch. Time for the Leaders and Best to show their Chad Toughness. Go Blue!
