Cammalleri's Game Winner
As I'm sure got some discussion on the Habs/Pens game thread, Michigan Man Mike Cammalleri capped his epic domination of Pittsburgh (7 goals in 7 games) with the game-winner on a nifty one-timer. Great to see Red's boys showing up at the highest level!

That was just a hell of a play.....great pass across and he placed his shot perfectly. Hopefully more to come next round.
Between that one time pass and the one time shot, it is hard to say which was prettier. Cammalleri has has a hell of a playoff thus far. Keep it up my boy!
it will be another guaranteed cup for some former wolverine (Cammalleri - Habs, Hunwick - Boston, Ortmeyer - San Jose, Madden - Chicago).
Personally I'm cheering for Cammalleri and the Habs..
He had a great series and performed like a true star is supposed to perform during the playoffs. I thought he played great in the Caps series, but he stepped it up even more. Damn you Red for not getting your players ready for the NHL!
Crosby on the other hand, 1 goal in the series. Way to show up big hockey hewo.
Brett Hull on the goal with the put-all-your-friggin-weight-into-the-one-timer. Made me shed a little tear remembering how the Wings used to have snipers like that. Back before the dark times. Before the salary cap.
This guy is on fire. Any chance the Wings get a shot at him? Probably not, I'm guessing, but who do the Wings have a shot at landing in Free Agency? We could use some type of addition somewhere, especially if a guy like Lidstrom retires.
He's not a UFA until after 2013-2014.
Unlikely. He's always wanted to play in Canada. This is why LA traded him, because they knew they'd never be able to keep him around. I imagine he'll stay with the Canadiens till late in his career or until he retires.
I'm hoping for an "Original 6" Stanley Cup Finals.
In January 2010, we listened to you tell the world that, "Michigan is the worst. Red (Berenson) doesn't coach." regarding the slower than expected development of Michigan's Jack Johnson.
We respectfully submit the above link regarding another Michigan Man, Mike Cammalleri - who's development has been a bit better at Montreal.
Could it be that your team sucks at development but rather than look in the mirror, you blindside Michigan's hockey program instead?
That's what we thought...
Sincerely,
Every Other NHL GM
