Mario Ojemudia running a lot with the ones. I like what I'm hearing. I'm sure he's just situational, but I would love to see a good pass rusher like him on the field.

Tom Dienhart said he asked Jerry Montgomery who would start at Dline and he said Black, Campbell, Washington, and Roh. No mention of Beyer nad I did not see him in any of the clips of practice. Revsine also said that Ojemudia was getting a ton of reps with the ones . . . am I missing something about Beyer??

That worried me a bit too, he's going to need to step up big time in Black's absence. I think most practice reports have been positive on him though, and Pipkins didn't get much of a mention either, so I wouldn't think too much of it.

I think this means that Q Wash is the first sub at the interior positions. Rush ends are coached by Mattison I believe and not Montgomery. Starting line should still be Roh-Campbell-Black-Beyer.

I remember in spring practice interviews all the d starters mentioning Q repeatedly with the others like Black and Campbell and I just shrugged it off as positive buzz, but if he's stepped up enough to be a solid interior lineman then our DLine just went from speedy/athletic to BEEEEFCAAAAAAAAKE!!!!!!!!!! in a big hurry.
I'd love to see Qwash at NT and BWC go 1 on 1 inside. Can't help but wonder how much of this was planned (if true) and how much of it was just smokescreen to keep the lid on our lineups and starters before the Alabama game until it's too late for them to gameplan for us.
