Brundidge transfers to Detroit
Apparently Carlton Brundidge is transferring to Detorit, per ESPN. Good luck to the kid, I am sure he is happy playing somewhere, where he can be free.
Good for them, good for him. I hope they can start something special there a la Butler.
With butler moving to the A10 it would be no surprise to see Detroit step into the spot that Butler held as top dawg(sorry, as a Butler student I had to) of the Horizon. There line-up will have some really solid players in a couple years.
sorry, Valpo's got that taken care of, thankyouverymuch
Got to knock off the defending Horizon champs first.

we will, and all three this year instead of just two outta three like last year.
I read this as Burbridge and was confused.
Where did he come from?
Dyslexics of the world, UNTIE!!
waht you did there
but I was more excited
FHH player that commited to MSU last year. Really the only recruiting win for MSU against us last year.
Nah that's Burbridge. This is Carlton Brundidge the basketball player who transferred from us after last basketball season.
Kid was probably going to end up burried anyway. At Detroit, he can take on a muhc bigger role and get the playing time he needs to develop.
Heck, put me in his position, I would have stayed for the Michigan degree. Good luck to him though.
Not sure he was a B1G level talent, we'll see if he develops, he looked lost on the court last season and it made me cringe when he had the ball in his hands.
The question I have is should we be concerned that 3 players have transferred out after the last season. This seems like a lot for a basketball team. Does this affect the APR?
The NCAA has estimated that 40 percent of Division 1 basketball players transfer by the end of their sophomore years, so having three players transfer isn't that extraordinary. And if the player is in good academic standing, a transfer doesn't affect the team APR. Given that the APR is done on a multiyear basis, the Michigan basketball team should be fine in any event because they were just honored with an APR Public Recognition Award for earning "a multiyear APR score inside the top 10 percent of their sport."
Ok thanks for the info Raoul and Butterfield.
Too bad it didn't work out at U-M for him. Best of luck to him.
Good luck to him. Detroit seems to building a decent mid-major program over there.
For some reason, I read this as Aaron Burbridge. I was like, WTF? Detroit has a football team?
Anywoozles, good look to Carlton. Hope he gets some good run. Its a solid program over there.
What is he - a falcon?

Mccallum is a great coach.. Hope Brundidgehas a better time in DTown.. Dickie V might even stop by for a game, now that the court is named after him.
I thought there was talk of him going to UofD but I can't recall if that happened. Would be great to see U of D become one of the top mid majors again.
And Zeigler can play right away. See this.
Your daddy getting fired should not be cause for a transfer exemption.
I wish him nothing but the best - he gets to stay close to home (actually, closer to home, since he is from Southfield), and I bet he gets more playing time and a better chance to develop than he would at Michigan. It is good to see U of D actually building up the program again, and Brundidge can certainly help them out.
