Braxton Miller Leaves Game With Injury

Submitted by Mercury Hayes on

Braxton Miller was injured late in the third quarter after a long run when he was tackled by a Purdue defender. The Purdue player grabbed Miller's jersey and pulled him to the ground rather forcefully. Miller went down hard on his left shoulder and didn't move much. He laid on the field for quite a while and appeared to be crying. He then was helped off the field by two coaches and appeared that he could barely walk. A very mysterious injury.

Buckeye coaches appeared to want a horsecollar call, but the tackle was clean. Injury could have been avoided if Miller ran out of bounds. Sucks though. Looks painful whatever it is.

Watching him shuffle over to the cart while being half carried by three different trainers was scary.  I would be surprised if he is back this year.

And now they just said he is being loaded into an ambulence.  Hope he's okay. Always a shame to lose such a talent regardless of who he plays for.

First off, apologies for making this a diary. Mods, feel free to move.

And, the shuffle off the bench was very odd. Never seen that before. And I agree I hate seeing injuries. But most notably the concussions and those bad ACL tears. Those always make me cringe. Miller's takedown wasn't cringeworthy, but you could just tell it wasn't normal.

Apparently, footage of him possibly going to the hospital in the ambulance is more interesting than the game.  I blame this awful announcer.

Definitely hope he'll be alright and can recover from that hit.  I knew it looked bad from the moment he went down.  Hopefully for him and his family's sake he can make a full and fast recovery.
