Braxton Miller Leaves Game With Injury
Braxton Miller was injured late in the third quarter after a long run when he was tackled by a Purdue defender. The Purdue player grabbed Miller's jersey and pulled him to the ground rather forcefully. Miller went down hard on his left shoulder and didn't move much. He laid on the field for quite a while and appeared to be crying. He then was helped off the field by two coaches and appeared that he could barely walk. A very mysterious injury.
Buckeye coaches appeared to want a horsecollar call, but the tackle was clean. Injury could have been avoided if Miller ran out of bounds. Sucks though. Looks painful whatever it is.

I thought a concussion at first--especially the way he seemed dizzy and couldn't seem to walk on his own. He seemed so out of it. But collarbone is possible too. The pain from that can be pretty intense.

The way I remember it, he wasn't really limping when they helped him off. That could be the booze talking though.

that was my first thought, broken collarbone. Maybe it's just a separated shoulder, but he landed on it hard with no cushioning.

Watching him shuffle over to the cart while being half carried by three different trainers was scary. I would be surprised if he is back this year.
And now they just said he is being loaded into an ambulence. Hope he's okay. Always a shame to lose such a talent regardless of who he plays for.

He is on way to hospital, have to wish him the best recovery.

Even as a Michigan fan you absolutely hate to see this kind of thing happen to anybody. Hopefully he makes a full and speedy recovery for the game in November.

First off, apologies for making this a diary. Mods, feel free to move.
And, the shuffle off the bench was very odd. Never seen that before. And I agree I hate seeing injuries. But most notably the concussions and those bad ACL tears. Those always make me cringe. Miller's takedown wasn't cringeworthy, but you could just tell it wasn't normal.

sometimes when you have a broken bone or torn muscle any kind of movement causes pain, hence you walk very gingerly even if your legs are fine.

Apparently, footage of him possibly going to the hospital in the ambulance is more interesting than the game. I blame this awful announcer.

I hope he has a quick and full recovery, but man, it does not look good.

Definitely hope he'll be alright and can recover from that hit. I knew it looked bad from the moment he went down. Hopefully for him and his family's sake he can make a full and fast recovery.

Just curious, but why is this a diary?

I hope he is ok and will make a full recovery. Never like to see head injuries (if this is the case).
