As if this young man could do more to cement himself as one of the greatest human beings to ever play Michigan football.

Blake continues to amaze with his kind-hearted generosity. What a fine young man and fine representative of both his family and of the University of Michigan!

As an Ypsi native, I'm very aware of the 2 communities he chose for his Thanksgiving help. He couldn't have chosen any better. Those neighborhoods could use any help they can get. Goes to show that it wasn't just for show, but a genuine attempt to help those that need it most.

Maybe I’m just naïve, but I believe him when he says that this is important to him.  A lot of athletes give to charity as a way of managing their reputation, or to distract attention from somewhere else, or because their agent told them it’d build their brand, or whatever.

But this young man has gone above and beyond in a way that I don’t remember anybody doing. It’s seemingly constant with him. What a wonderful story.  He just made Christmas better for a bunch of families who really, really need it.

I’m sure there’s a bad apple somewhere, but this team is so gosh-darn likable that it really makes me feel good as a fan.  Go Blue!

I doubt he will and if he did, he wouldn't care.

Besides, does Eric Dickerson hear that everywhere he goes? Or Tom Brady and the Patriots? Or members of the 2017 Astros? How about Barry Bonds? Even Lance Armstrong has outlived the truly blatant cheating he personally planned and executed. Blake will be fine.

Ummm….

Brady, yes… haters gonna hate

Astros, yes   Until the Dodgers this week just said “hold my beer.”

Bonds… for sure  See: Hall of Fame induction speech… NOT.

Lance, DEFINITELY yes, as well he should, we all should be haters by statutory edict, guy was not only a fraud but an evil sociopathic fraud. But everyone murders, amirite.

So like ummm those are some awful awful awful examples. BUT Blake wont hear it, he has nothing to do with it.

99 of 100 people have no idea who you are talking about, while the remaining one only knows his name because they remembered it from the movie (where he redeems his name).

Blake is not the only member of the team that will easy outlive (and largely have outlived) any cheating allegations.

We as Michigan fans obsess over those allegations, but, other than among MSU and OSU fans, they've been superseded by more recent news.

The fist bump through the glass window got me. Brings back a lot of memories  being isolated at the children's hospital In the fall of 2020. Lots of waves through the glass windows. Always brought a smile to my daughters face.

Blake Corum is at the top of my list of favorite players. great player, even better person.

Has there been a better person that ever played football at Michigan?  Probably a handful of players - yeah, I said that the way I meant it - over the decades, but no better people that I'll ever think of.

Good on you, Blake.  And Merry Christmas to your and yours!

We speak loudest through our actions.

I'm not sure you could ask for a finer representative of your football program or your university than Blake Corum.  He's not spending his free time talking, he's out there doing.  I've never read anything that suggests that he is motivated by anything other than genuinely wanting to help people.  Nobody is pushing him or forcing him to do any of this.  There isn't some pot of gold as a reward for doing it.  He's just doing it because he's Blake Corum.

At the risk of sounding hot-takey, I think Corum flashing the six-five after the TD we really really really needed vs OSU may go down as an even more iconic moment than Desmond's Heisman pose.

Not only did his 22-yd scamper break the school record for rush TD's in a season, but the game was in the balance and him celebrating by shouting out his wounded comrade just makes it one of, if not THE most emotionally poignant moment in Michigan football history.  That's no disrespect to Desmond, but Hello Heisman was part of a 31-3 sledgehammering, whereas Corum's TD was vital to winning the 3rd game in a row after two decades of futility.
