Big Ten / ACC Challenge Announced - MBB to play @ Louisville

Big Ten / ACC Challenge matchups were announced earlier this morning. Some intriguing matchups for sure! I won't lie, our terrifies me a bit but also is super exciting. Will certainly be a great early test for Coach Howard and the team.

Lots of great games to look forward to this year. Go Blue!

Happy with the way the good part of the non-con schedule came out:

v. Creighton

Battle 4 Atlantis (Alabama, Gonzaga, Iowa State, North Carolina, Oregon, Seton Hall, Southern Miss, figure we play 1 of Zags/UNC and 2 of the others.)

@Louisville

v. Oregon.

Compare that to @Nova, Georgetown/Providence, UNC, SCar last year. The tourney is harder but the others are probably easier on aggregate. It'll be interesting to see what kind of buy games Howard schedules. Hopefully we'll find out soon.

OSU @ UNC is my pick for "place where I want the meteor to hit."

I have no idea what to expect out of Michigan this year, but Louisville will be a pretty good barometer.  They return Nwora, who was a solid player, and a decent chunk of a not-bad team last year, plus a top-15 recruiting class.

Will definitely be making this...and glad to offer some insight for things to do such as bourbon bars, great food, etc. for anyone interested.  Great spot to make it a long weekend, or whole week, if the Bourbon Trail is of interest.

Michigan probably could have gotten Coach Mack had JB gone to the Pistons.  This will be interesting because with JB gone he is an up and coming coach that runs a great system. His Xavier stuff was very wide-open and based on running.
