The journalists and die-hard UM fans (like us) are going to be working over-time to try and figure out which injured Michigan players will actually play vs OSU.

I wont allow myself to be optimistic or pessimistic until we learn which of the injured players are definitely going to play vs OSU.

At this point, it's all about who will actually play vs OSU.  If UM gets most of its injured players back (especially Corum and Edwards), UM will have a darn good chance of upsetting OSU.

Well, Michigan had a lot of starters sit, this was a trap game, Corum got dinged, this was a championship game for Illinois and frankly everyone from the fans to the players seemed to be ready to get to next week. I think Michigan is going to play really tough and focused next week. Can they win? Idk? But I’m holding judgment based on a look ahead game against a sporting Illini squad.

Yeah, unless we get some people back.

I'd like to say "hey they should work on passing more and it will be all good", but I don't know what they can reduce practicing.  Didn't seem like they were good in anything other than field goals. I probably need to put the vodka down and re-watch the game closer, but nah full speed overreacting ahead!!!!

Michigan will need to pay their best game. One key is to pressure the hell out of Stroud. We can't expect to beat them with key starters out like we did today.

One good thing about today's squeaker, is that all the football "experts" in the media are going to say that OSU is going to win or win easily. That should provide some extra motivation for Michigan.. kind of a "nothing to lose", "no-one believes in us" attitude. All the pressure will be on OSU to not lose two in a row to Michigan and to be the one that is favored heavily at home.

Both teams looking ahead to next week and you can tell. Both of these games are not close if they are played at any other point in the season.

Anyway, fuck Ohio. If our key guys are healthy next Saturday, we win.

We need dis....

"It was November 22, 1969, The words were said, the prayers were read and every body cried.  But when they closed the coffin, it was someone else inside.  They came to bury Michigan, but Michigan wasn't dead, and when the game was over it was someone else instead.  22 Michigan wolverines put on the gloves of gray, and as Revelli played the Victors, they lay Woody Hayes away."

Second, this thread should be the HATE WEEK thread and needs a sticky.

Beat Ohio State.
