I think they will win at least nine games. If they win their first six games (and I'm not saying they will), I think they will play for the national title.

I'm guessing, in all seriousness, that he thought Nebraska was joining the conference this year and that the divisional split would take effect immediately. That's got to be what the "title game" prediction is.
Putting aside his senility for a minute, it's interesting to think how we would do this year if the divisions existed. Is Nebraska really back? I don't know. While I wouldn't quite pick us to win our division this year, I feel like every game would be winnable.
