This is why I don't read any of the posts on a forum because they are sometimes immature like this guy's. He doesn't even talk about sports, he posts stupid pictures and idiotic responses that are not needed on Mgoblog.

The picture of the frozen dead guy is definitely a bummer, but I don't really think it's ban-worthy. I saw it months ago on some mainstream media site. (Here or here, maybe.) Are we really so sensitive here that you can be banned for posting a picture that's acceptable at detnews.com and msnbc.com?

There was another, different picture of a corpse that has now been deleted. I don't believe it was on a mainstream media site like the Detroit News, and I'd be surprised if the deleted picture was one that detnews.com, msnbc.com or any other mainstream media site would find acceptable.

Correct on the deletion. What is gone was considerably more offensive and uncalled for. After consulting with a few people who pay microscopic attention to the board they confirmed my initial instinct: banhammer.

with the wife--she thought I was looking at porn when he had the imbedded movie of scissors cutting that chick's shirt. not sure about a ban; maybe just clean up the act a bit

Just for the record, I don't think this is the place for said picture. That said, I don't understand why people are concerned about children seeing a picture of clothed breasts. Yeah, it's suggestive, not like they aren't going to have seen playboy or real porn by the time they are 12. Once again, NOT condoning the picture, just saying let's not turn this into a "Protect the Children" type deal.

I agree. It's just that I let him watch some highlight video's etc, and the topless pic was unexpected. I caught some grief from the mrs., got pissed, and bitched about it. But again, I do agree w/ everything you said there.

Photobucket The fact remains that this is a Michigan sports blog, and while it's nowhere near G rated, there are certain things you shouldn't expect to see while here. Those who'd like to see those things can easily seek them out elsewhere and be on the lookout for the wife/kids/ or farm animals they may offend (in Pogue's case).

It was rather stupid and annoying. Furthermore, there are some things that are just plain offensive and cross the line.
