Eh... Minkah Fitzpatrick was a PFF All American, and Marlon Humphries wasn't much behind.

Jalen Tabor and Tre’Davious White both were worse than Alabama corners according to PFF.

PFF ranks NFL talent as:

#8 Jalen Tabor

#16 Jourdan Lewis

# 25 Tre’Davious White

...so I think it might be closer than you think.

But glad to see Bama lose. They are human after all. Thought Clemson wasn't going to win it after Bama's late TD, but they pulled it out. We need a receiver like Williams. Difference maker.

since Vince Young. Was eerily reminiscent, especially when DW looked shell-shocked that it actually happened. Go back and look at VY's reaction when he scored the winning points. He almost looks catatonic.

Bama fans can't be pissed as long as Saban is there. As long as Saban is there Bama has a legit shot to win it all every season.

But they thumped OSU. Then beat Alabama.

Mixed emotions, but give them credit.

Congrats to D Watson. Young man took some shots and didn't quit.

I really like how they smacked down OSU. Our turn next.

do we know that was Clemson thst tried to offer Gary 100k? I could see him having legit reason for considering Clemson, with an uncle in close proximity and the most insane facilities being built. I just assumed it was an Auburn or Ole Miss booster trying that shit.

I turned it off quickly after it was over to get to bed, hoping to wake up to footage of Saban lambasting the refs over the blatant pick on that winning TD. That receiver went right for the legs of the defender and I noticed Saban on the sideline waving his arms as if pissed about the non-call.

Alas, I checked the Bama newspapers this morning and no whining from Saban. His players obliged instead though.

Bama deserved it probably, but man those last 2 plays the refs hosed them.  Suspect defensive PI call followed by no call on a brutal OPI on the winning TD.  i guess it evens out for the no calls their way in teh first quarter.

I came to see schadenfreude but no one has posted any, so I went to look for my own and Bama fans are actually being level headed about the loss, who would have guessed?

Talking to a buddy of mine who's a big Bama fan, he's taking this loss in stride.  He's sad and disappointed, but he also knows that things are probably going to OK long term.  He expects to be delighted on NSD in February, he expects Bama to be ranked #1 going into next season, he expects Bama to make it into the playoff again, and he expects them to be playing for the National Championship again a year from now....and he's not being delusional with those expectations.

One of the priceless quotes:

"Saban, you see, doesn’t smile.

So much so that commenting on it has become an Internet meme. When the Miami Herald’s Greg Cote witnessed the man smile he wrote of the moment, “There was a rusty creaking sound, an emission of hell’s gasses and then the release of screeching bats as Saban’s lips parted.”

I'm glad.  I'm sick of Alabama.  Everytime I watch them (I always root for them to lose of course - they're basically the Yankees & Patriots at this point) I am bored to tears.  Even the close games bore the shit out of me.  Last night had an exciting finish but outside of the last 5 minutes, it was a snoozer of a game.

Alabama sucks all the fun and joy out of the game.  As a team and as a program they have no identity or personality whatsoever.  They never even have interesting players.  Alabama makes the 90s Nebraska teams look like the freaking Harlem Globetrotters.

I think it's all a reflection of their automaton coach. It's not so much a football program as a goddamn robot factory.

I hate those fuckers and I'm glad they lost.
