Bama 4* RS Fr. DT Ishmael Sopsher to Transfer Portal

Sopsher was the #47 composite recruit in his class, and he's a big guy at DT. Farrell seems to think he's gonna revisit LSU, Oregon, and A&M. And he has a brother at an FCS school.

He did have a Michigan offer, and he could help DL depth. What do you think will happen?

Interesting. I've been told Michigan's hit a wall in the past when trying to get guys from Bama specifically and a lot of other FBS schools in general because the academics administration won't transfer their credits, or if they do they're half-credits that don't count towards a major. I know this sounds like a knock on Bama's education--ha ha we're too pure bluh bluh--but it's pretty dumb to treat a major state university's classes as less than local AP credits.

Nojel Eastern comes to mind. It's why I have a bad feeling that open transferring is going to screw Michigan comparatively. Our guys can leave freely to whereever they want, but we have to pray admissions accepts our transfers credits. And even being a from a Big Ten school isn't enough assurance that it will go through

Realistically, RS Fr from Louisiana transferring from Bama? My betting money is on him showing up at another P5 school in the south somewhere. Maybe Arkansas?
