Yeah, I've been lurking here since I was about 15 or 16. I was able to balance my WD style hardcore fandom with high school life and beyond until I had kids. Now, I'm 24 and just a lame dad with the same obsession for Michigan sports. If I had created an account back then I'd have triple the points I do now. Not sure why I didn't. (Probably cause I had a life once. All of us on here can admit we don't, right?)

 or a wife and a mother.  all other occupations and pursuits pale in comparison to that one.   and who says your kids will be gone when you are 45, mine weren't (and aren't) and i'm not looking forward to when they do start leaving.  

one other thing:  take your kids with you when you go have fun fishing, hunting, running, hiking, biking, etc.  it will bake into their DNA and you won't have to ask them, 'do you want to go with dad to do X?', because they'll already be at the door waiting for you.  remember, your kids don't need 'stuff'', they need your time and that is a great way to spend time.  enjoy.

Good to hear! I'll be 52 before he can play at UM. Jim will be 70? He could still be coaching then? Yeaaaah... he will be.

I keep thinking that My little Olivia is only a couple of months older than Baby John. Olivia Harbaugh has a beautiful ring to it lol
