Athletic Ticket Office ticket order notification for B1G Championship
For those of you that ordered tickets, I just got my notification of my order being filled. E-tickets on the way later in the week.
Excited to get tickets in with the Michigan fans instead of random scalper tickets.
See you in Indy and Go Blue!
*** Gotta love my wife. She had no problem rescheduling our wedding anniversary celebration plans to attend the championship game.

What was the cost per ticket out the door if you don’t mind sharing ?
November 28th, 2021 at 5:45 PM ^
Tickets were $95 and $200 in the initial request email yesterday. We did not get to choose which one we preferred. You could order up to four tickets with no guarantee of fulfillment. The fulfillment confirmation came this evening just after 5pm. We ended up with the $95 tickets. Usually there are taxes and a minimal service fee like $10 per ticket when the charge hits your credit card.
Go Blue - beat Iowa!

Haven't received anything yet for me....any idea how many priority points you have? I am just below 190, if I remember right....
November 28th, 2021 at 6:15 PM ^
Good question, I should have included that we have 289 points.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:15 PM ^
I received the rejection email. It says "we were only able to fulfill request for those with at least 215 priority points"
They were only allocated 11,000 tickets. Bummer for sure.
November 28th, 2021 at 7:36 PM ^
Just bought two tickets on Stubhub(section 420) for $775 after taxes.
There were some cheaper options, but I don’t think those will last long for those of you waiting since unlike yesterday, many Michigan fans are expecting a win.

Right near you in Loge 416
November 28th, 2021 at 5:47 PM ^
Got mine which is great. $95 level which is what I expected. Don't particularly care which level i got as I just really need to be in the building for this.
November 28th, 2021 at 6:07 PM ^
What's your priority point level with the ticket office?
November 28th, 2021 at 8:47 PM ^
I stepped away to cook some dinner and things blew up here.
I have 637 priority points which makes it interesting that I didn’t get the $150 tickets. Must have been very few of them.
November 29th, 2021 at 1:38 AM ^
I believe we are right around 265 points. Saw some others say that 215 points was the cutoff.
November 28th, 2021 at 5:54 PM ^
That should be your wedding Anniversary plans!
November 28th, 2021 at 5:57 PM ^
How many priority points do you have? Just wondering if I’m anywhere close to the amount needed.
November 28th, 2021 at 6:13 PM ^
Wondering the same thing. I have just over 200 myself, which was good enough to get 4 tickets @ MSU this year.
No email yet, which is worrying.
what is the lowest “success” amount of points?
November 28th, 2021 at 6:39 PM ^
I just read the email it said the deadline for season ticket holders was last night!!! I’m pissed!
November 28th, 2021 at 7:55 PM ^
According to my request denied email, 215 points.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:01 PM ^
I just got the same email. Wondering if they truly limited it to (likely) 2 tickets per request or not.

After attending yesterdays game I may have to watch the Championship game on tv! It was so exhilarating and exhausting for me after a long 3 days of hosting family for Thanksgiving! However I'm still debating. But I'm thinking the smart move is save it for the CFP games! Go blue!
November 28th, 2021 at 6:02 PM ^
Non season ticket holder here.
Plan on driving to the game from cincinnati. which side of the field are we on? I’m trying to get tickets through stub hub. Also looks like finding hotels is about to suck.
November 28th, 2021 at 6:04 PM ^
Dude. I did not get home from the game until about 8pm. I looked on-line for hotels and there were plenty available. I submitted application for tickets. I just checked hotels again, they are mostly gone within Indy proper. I will have to get a flea bag hotel closer to Fort Wayne.
November 28th, 2021 at 6:10 PM ^
I’m debating just driving home after the game
November 28th, 2021 at 6:34 PM ^
My neighborhood has chartered a bus for several of the Big10 championship games and it has been glorious. The bus picked us up in our neighborhood (I had to walk a block). Ride over was comfortable and we had some adult beverages along the way. The bus arrived a few hours before the game. One year we just stayed on the bus (cold as hell) and another year we walked around until game time. The bus was parked close to the gates so it was a short walk back to the bus after the game. Commiserate/Celebrate on the ride back to the neighborhood and enjoy a few more adult beverages.
If you can find some like-minded folks in your circle you might consider it as an option. Personally, I much preferred the bus to driving/parking on my own and/or trying to find a hotel within walking distance.
I think the bus ride was ~$100-$120 per person. For reference: I live about a 2 hour car drive from Indy, you are probably closer to 4 hours so might be a bit more.
Good luck either way and enjoy the game. I am 50+ so it was a nice change of pace to watch a college game in a climate controlled environment.
November 28th, 2021 at 6:37 PM ^
That will be a long day for you. Google maps says 2 hours from Cincy to Indy. You know the game will not end until midnight. So if you refrain from adult beverages, stick to water, your plan just might work. I live in the thumb of Michigan so it is 4~5 hours to Indy so I will have to get a room.

Don't use StubHub. They are charging an $81 service fee per ticket. Use TickPick.
Prices suck on both, but at least you don't get drilled with pointless service fees on TickPick.
November 28th, 2021 at 6:53 PM ^
I checked TickPick and Stub Hub. Both are advertising the lowest price of $285 for nose bleeds. I cannot believe these prices.
November 28th, 2021 at 6:58 PM ^
I've said it before but I will reiterate it here: all ticket websites have service fees. Sometimes they just build it into the price that is displayed. Either way, don't focus on what portion is service fees or not since the final price is all that matters. Also: the service fees on StubHub are based upon the ticket price. They could be 81.00 per ticket, could be less, or could be even more than that. Just some relevant information for everyone.
November 28th, 2021 at 7:38 PM ^
Last night the same tix on TickPick and StubHub were listed at the same price. StubHub added $81 service fee for the $235 ticket. TickPick did not. Wife and I saved $162 by not using StubHub.
November 28th, 2021 at 7:45 PM ^
This is mostly true. They both added service fees. StubHub apparently just added 81.00 more than TickPick in this case. TickPick builds their fees into the ticket price. Glad you were able to save some money. My post was just about making sure people focus on the final price and not what portion is or isn't a service fee. Enjoy Indy. I'm still hoping that my application gets selected by the ticket office.
November 28th, 2021 at 7:55 PM ^
I live in Indy and there's a chance I get free tix from work, but I had to buy in case that didn't come through and before prices skyrocketed even further.
It should be a great night. Any given Saturday and all, but Iowa isn't that great. I've never seen a team have so many insanely bad INTs fall into their lap. QBs seem to love to throw straight into their chests. Cade typically avoids that.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:43 PM ^
Can I call dibs if you end up getting extra tickets? Obviously willing to pay
November 28th, 2021 at 9:48 PM ^
You got it. I'll let you know as soon as I know from work.
November 29th, 2021 at 10:29 PM ^
Being serious here, let me know how I can provide my contact info. I’ll buy whichever tickets you don’t want. Thanks man!
November 28th, 2021 at 6:02 PM ^
No email as of 6:01pm. I have 135 priority points (17,465 out of 60,297) so I may not have enough points. I did not get a rejection email either, so there is hope.
How many priority points does MGo Users have that did receive Indy tickets?
UPDATE: I checked my account (6:40pm) and no tickets yet. Good luck to the rest of you.
November 28th, 2021 at 6:33 PM ^
Same. No notification for me yet (I have 98 points).
November 28th, 2021 at 6:55 PM ^
105 points here and holding out hope :(
November 28th, 2021 at 8:32 PM ^
Update: Hope no longer needed. I was a $110,000 donation to the university or $11,000 donation to the athletic department away from making it.
So...."close"....
November 28th, 2021 at 6:04 PM ^
I didn’t get an email unfortunately (175 priority points). If at any point someone has a pair available let me know, trying to take my son. Go Blue
November 28th, 2021 at 6:15 PM ^
I have 229 points and got a ticket. Email came in a bit after 5.
November 28th, 2021 at 7:05 PM ^
You said “a” ticket, did you only request a single?
November 28th, 2021 at 7:15 PM ^
Correct. My friends all did their own requests. I didn’t want to over request.
November 28th, 2021 at 6:19 PM ^
wtf the are you doing getting married during football season anyway?
JK, congrats. enjoy the trip
November 28th, 2021 at 8:55 PM ^
Back in the day, if you got married on Thanksgiving weekend, the regular season was over. Conference championship games did not exist. Yes, I’ve been married for 37 years. We ended up getting married on Thanksgiving weekend because we both had demanding jobs and this worked with our family and friends. In reality, what a horrible time to get married. We gave up years ago on celebrating near Thanksgiving and have pushed that out until the week after Thanksgiving.
November 28th, 2021 at 6:25 PM ^
I missed the e-mail. It got sent to an account where I get so much junk that I often don't check it. I think I am going to change my e-mail on my ticket account. I don't know if I would have had enough points in any event to get tickets. I think I will end up watching this one on TV.
November 28th, 2021 at 6:41 PM ^
You may want to call the ticket office tomorrow and explain what happened. They are VERY understanding and, based on your points, they may have a solution.
Also, the ticket office is allowing you to back out of your commitment by Noon tomorrow. So there may be additional tix available at that time.
November 28th, 2021 at 7:28 PM ^
So essentially everyone who ordered last night gets an email that their request was approved BUT they're not processing until you respond by confirming you want to finalize the purchase, and the deadline to finalizing is noon Monday.
That looks like a very important caveat so please let us know if I'm correct on the process.
November 28th, 2021 at 7:39 PM ^
According to the email we received, UM will not process your order if you cancel your request by Noon on Monday. If you do not cancel then your order will be processed and your credit card will be charged.

Be loud and BRING YOUR MAIZE POM POMS!
November 28th, 2021 at 6:34 PM ^
I wonder if you can tell the difference between maize & yellow on a 4K broadcast?
November 28th, 2021 at 6:33 PM ^
I'm in with four tickets at the $95 price point. We have 632 priority points.
November 28th, 2021 at 7:25 PM ^
I’m at 483 and got the $95 seats as well. Anyone get to the $200 level? Would love to know how many points I’d need to get to that point.
I guess I could just email the AD but where’s the fun in that? Haha
