Army-Navy in a Snowstorm: Must See TV. (Open Thread)

Submitted by stephenrjking on

I figured I'd turn on Army-Navy because the game is legitimately in question this year and there's not much else to do and it's Army-Navy.

Turns out it will be played in a driving snowstorm.

Football is a great sport for many reasons. One of those reasons is that it is a game for all seasons. Other sports have a set range of acceptable conditions; football will play in all of them. And it will look spectacular.

This is going to be awesome.

"game for all seasons".

I think quite a few schools below certain latitudes...would beg to differ!

Pretty pumped to watch this though while getting the Christmas tree up this afternoon!

Scoring on a safety and recovering a blocked punt in the end zone. They will not gain a first down and will have all nine pass attempts fall incomplete.

A precedent has been set for this event to occur in the snow.

Everyone we’ve met that’s here for the game has been first class!
