Anyone know with certainty whether recruits & players read this blog?

Just curious more than anything. I'm sure there's not a person in this world that hasn't googled themselves to see what comes up (yes, hyperbole, no need to post and say you've never done this), and I assume this curiosity would only increase with the knowledge that articles and various blogs write about your skills and future plans. And maybe it's just me, but I'd want to read the bigger name blogs about the school I planned to play for or currently play for. Any actual knowledge out there?

Since I am secretley Charles Woodson, I can say that some ex-players do. And I know that ChiTownBlue is actually Desmond. And that Dex guy, he's Jim Tressel.

Every recruit that I interview, I send him the link to the interview. Most of the ones I talk to have been on here. Travante Stallworth's Dad commented a couple times. It just depends on who it is really. But, yes there are recruits that are on here.

Yea I've gotten positive feedback from both players and parents. When I first started talking to Ricardo, he thought it was crazy that so many people viewed his interview. They don't usually say anything negative, because they know the comments are off tilt sometimes, and understand how the boards work. As long as I'm not writing negative stuff they're happy.

I usually try to refrain from posting anything negative about a recruit (in the off-chance I have anything negative to say) for this reason. It would suck to read some of the comments you see posted around here if they were about you or your kid. Yeah, yeah I know they are "public figures" and "open themselves up" to being picked apart, etc etc - I'm solely making a decency argument. And a rather softbatch one at that.

I am still waiting for my official offer though. I've been told that if every recruit de-commits, I may just get it. I am a 28 year old slot receiver. I of course am holding my breath. Oh, and it's also dependant on every player listed on Rivals committing elsewhere.

I think coaches try to stress for players not to post on forums or read up on things too many times. Of course, if I'm Tim Tebow, I absorb all the internet into my greatness, so there is no escaping.

I am pretty sure he does. and whenever someone creates a new chapter in the Barwis mystique, he feels compelled to make it a reality. His wife is pretty fed up w/ these antics as well. When he brought home 2 wolves after reading on here that he owns wolves, she nearly left him. And all these Cage fights he has signed up for lately have left his body in shambles. He has been chain smoking at an alarming rate and chewing gravel to make his voice sound more like we want it to. He basically lives in a constant state of fear every time he checks out the message boards to hear the next ridiculous rumor he will have to make a reality for our enjoyment.

COME TO MICHIGAN! Yes, we tend to obsess over the college destinations of high school students. Yes, occasionally the posts and discussion (especially in the offseason) could best be characterized as "off color." And yes, some of the threads do not portray certain players in the most positive light. But we love our Wolverines. We love our university. We love our school's tradition. We love to be part of the greatest rivalry in sports (and to hold the series edge by a substantial margin). We love the Big House and attending football games with the largest crowd in America. We love winged helmets. And we love Ann Arbor. GO BLUE!
