Any word from recruits about today?
I know today was a frustrating win but a win nonetheless. It happens and I was just as disappointed as I'm sure the rest of you were but a win in spite of what I'm sure was some pretty sloppy play (I wont know how sloppy till I get home - been in CEU's all day in Houston and cant wait to get home to watch the ultra tape-delay) is still a win. I have every confidence in RR and "The TEAM" to watch the film, learn some lessons and make the appropriate corrections. However what I'm concerned with is what the attending recruits and the recruits around the country that we're after had to say or thought about the team coming together and pulling out the win after getting stunned? If anything else it shows a ton of character. These guys will be great given time. I would think the recruits and especially the parents of those recruits would want to be around a group of guys like ours that can pull it together instead of turning on each other. They could have chose either. So - has anyone for that matter heard anything?
Edit: Please note that all reference questions directed toward Tom have been removed.

I'm sure Tom will post something tonight or tomorrow about it. He usually does.

... we all wish really hard and each promise Tom something in return, he'll post it faster.
I'll start: I'll name my first born TomVH (with Tom's permission, of course).

I suspect defensive recruits are thinking: "I could get a lot of early playing time".
When they visit we would do well to introduce them to Carvin Johnson and Ray Vinopal.

is misleading. That is how Tom titles his posts. - would be a better title if you did not use Tom's title convention.

what is a CEU? (pardon my ignorance)

...RR just didn't go over to the U MASS locker room to congratulate them but to recruit some of their players.

Why not? We know most of them are transfer-minded

as Tom had indicated. And, it was apparently another unofficial for Anthony Zettel.

That, friends, is a good thing.
It must be nice for him too...take a little drive down from West Branch, sideline for games if he wants, enjoy Ann Arbor a little bit...
That is a nice way to spend your autumn.

I saw Anthony live last night in Bay City. He was very impressive on both sides of the ball. Super quick and explosive. A total wall at offensive tackle and on run plays drives right through to the whistle looking for more contact.
He long snapped on a punt and also lined up as quarterback in the Wildcat and made a pretty 25 yard pass.
Equally impressive was how he carries himself. Hustle till the end.

I was under the impression that Crawford and Watkins were visiting for Iowa...

He posts great info multiple times per week, has insider info with recruits all over the country, and I'm sure he's at home waiting for someone to ask to post the info. When he has something, he will post it. It is not necessary to ask for it.

He said Chris Bryant enjoyed his visit to the UMass game and enjoyed what he saw from the Wolverines.

Almost as important, I am hoping that Aurburn loses in overtime to Clemson now considering Dee Hart and Kris Frost are in attendance.
Edit: Whoops probably just jinxed that for them..better them then us

I always wonder though, whats the most important thing to a recruit,. If you were a defensive player and saw the team struggle like today wouldn't that entice you to want to come in and play right away?

I was at the game and I saw current commit Shawn Conway. I also saw Chris Bryant, who has already been mentioned, with the other recruit who accompanied him on this visit.

Only TomVH can put "TomVH" in the titles

I watched that game rooting for Clemson to make Aubrun look bad since Dee was supposed to be there. I keep looking for "Hello Dee Hart" everyday on here.

Sorry for the thread title and in all seriousness, no offense to Tom for ignorantly misrepresenting by using a misleading title. Just trying to show some love to the program and to Tom. Also sorry for being over zealous about the future of Michigan football. If I offended anyone's delicate sensibilities by my question or by the phallic nature of the cigar I was chewing on I will be happy to edit the title and refrain from asking Tom any questions in the future and just leave recruiting questions for the "insiders".
