Any word from recruits about today?

Submitted by D.C.Blue on

I know today was a frustrating win but a win nonetheless.  It happens and I was just as disappointed as I'm sure the rest of you were but a win in spite of what I'm sure was some pretty sloppy play (I wont know how sloppy till I get home - been in CEU's all day in Houston and cant wait to get home to watch the ultra tape-delay) is still a win.  I have every confidence in RR and "The TEAM" to watch the film, learn some lessons and make the appropriate corrections.  However what I'm concerned with is what the attending recruits and the recruits around the country that we're after had to say or thought about the team coming together and pulling out the win after getting stunned?  If anything else it shows a ton of character.  These guys will be great given time.  I would think the recruits and especially the parents of those recruits would want to be around a group of guys like ours that can pull it together instead of turning on each other.  They could have chose either.  So - has anyone for that matter heard anything?

I saw Anthony live last night in Bay City. He was very impressive on both sides of the ball.  Super quick and explosive.  A total wall at offensive tackle and on run plays drives right through to the whistle looking for more contact.

He long snapped on a punt and also lined up as quarterback in the Wildcat and made a pretty 25 yard pass.

Equally impressive was how he carries himself. Hustle till the end.

He posts great info multiple times per week, has insider info with recruits all over the country, and I'm sure he's at home waiting for someone to ask to post the info. When he has something, he will post it. It is not necessary to ask for it.

Almost as important,  I am hoping that Aurburn loses in overtime to Clemson now considering Dee Hart and Kris Frost are in attendance.

Edit: Whoops probably just jinxed that for them..better them then us

Cause Clemson just missed the field goal in overtime to tie the game. And I'm kinda glad there wasn't a lot of recruits at todays game to tell you the truth. Yeah we won but it definitely was not the pretties game.

I always wonder though, whats the most important thing to a recruit,. If you were a defensive player and saw the team struggle like today wouldn't that entice you to want to come in and play right away?

Sorry for the thread title and in all seriousness, no offense to Tom for ignorantly misrepresenting by using a misleading title.  Just trying to show some love to the program and to Tom.  Also sorry for being over zealous about the future of Michigan football.  If I offended anyone's delicate sensibilities by my question or by the phallic nature of the cigar I was chewing on I will be happy to edit the title and refrain from asking Tom any questions in the future and just leave recruiting questions for the "insiders".
