Any theories on how make up games will work?

I assume it’s as easy as finding dates that work for both schools but it definitely gets messy. I tried looking up games for UM to reschedule and there isn’t always a clear answer for both schools. Sometimes either us or the other team would have to play back to back games to make it work. So then you get into which games get rescheduled and which do not. This could play a major factor in the Big Ten race. For example  MSU has “lucked out” missing some really tough opponents, while our postponed games looked pretty mild on a dead level. Looking at our remaining games that are scheduled, we have Illionois, Iowa and Rutgers at home,  Wisconsin, OSU, Indiana and MSU on the road. That’s a pretty daunting finish, especially if we are rusty. I’m just hoping this shutdown doesn’t royally screw up what we had going.

Sometimes people comment despite not reading the attached article. (Who needs to know the facts when making a comment?)

I'll see and raise them, replying to the title alone.

How make up games will work? Probably start with comparison of eye shadow, then the lipstick competition, followed by a tussle over blush techniques.

The B1G only treats OSU favorably. They will probably count our missing games and allow Iowa or WI to be regular season BiG champions. We will probably be 2nd or 3rd seeds in the B1G tournament. But I think we will win the B1G tournament no matter how unfairly the B1G commissioner treats us.

Why do we care? It is not like our NCAA tourney seed/chance will lessen if we do not make up those games. I would rather not force our team to go through hectic schedule and wipe themselves out before the tourney.

I think it matters because certain teams could have major advantages if their tougher games are not rescheduled. If we had Iowa, OSU and Illinois on the road and we weren’t sure they were going to be rescheduled, I wouldn’t be in a rush to play those on short rest. But cancelling very winnable games might impact who wins the title if they go off of winning percentage.

The daddy theory puts his "you-know-what" into the mommy theory's "you-know-what" and at the end of the season, we have champion.

I think what could wind up happening is they cancel the Big Ten Tournament and use that time to make up remaining regular season games.

Ive read theyve been skeptical on conference tournaments happening anyway. If a few more teams end up going down and missing a couple weeks.. that is a lot of games to make up.

The only thing I see preliminarily is either at NW on the 8th or at Penn St on the 7th? Those are the only 2 teams we haven’t played where it gives them 2 days in between their games. At this point in the season it’s gonna get very cramped to make up any games. Teams will have to learn to either play back to back days or at least every two days. The only other option is to move the tournament back a few weeks to let everyone finish up.
