Another Rudock record: 3 straight games with 250+ yards passing

Submitted by Dawkins on

Apparently no Michigan QB has ever done that before. That's weird. But its true. Hail HARBAUGH.

Edit: as others have posted, apparently this "record" wasn't really a record, despite what many Michigan sports writers have said. Mods, feel free to delete, unless you think keeping the thread up will be useful for anyone else who hears this false record repeated.

Ever since the play that shall not be named and the bye week Rudock has come out at looked great. His awareness is excellent and he's trusting his teammates to make plays.  He is a testimate to leadership with his hardwork anf faith in the process.

Rudock has been a straight blessing. He's been exactly what we needed him to be, and then some. Seriously, we didnt have very high hopes for this guy and he has us a fluke play away from being 10-1 heading into the OSU game. His development from utah to now has been awesome... Harbaugh basically turned an after thought QB to a a more than servicable starting B1G QB in a single season. Gets me excited to think what he can do with Brandon Peters in 4 years

I didn't think so either so I was confused when Dierdorf said it on the radio. Brady, Collins and Navarre each did it once. Henson came close. He had 2/3 and then 2/3 again but never 3 straight. I thought for sure Elvis Grbac would have done it (throwing to Desmond, Derrick Alexander, Yale Van Dyne and Tony McGee) but he wasn't even close. Despite all those receivers, we had such a strong running game that we didn't need to throw very much. Likewise with Harbaugh having the luxury of throwing to Kolesar, McMurtry, Paul Jokish and Eric Katus, the dominant running game made for a more balanced attack. Plus Harbaugh could scramble and run the option if need be.
