Another FanDuel Point boost, MSU this time
I know many were posting this previously for Michigan odds boosts, and that’s actually how I got on Fan Duel, turning that $45 winnings into some bigger sums. Well, Fan Duel is at it again, this time for the MSU UCLA game. The current line is MSU +31.5 and will move to +32.5 with another 1300 or so wagers. Regardless, max bet is $50, and pay out is $45 and some change. The actual betting odds are -110, so you get almost 1:1 pay out.
For those that are unfamiliar, this means that your bet would be on MSU to win by any amount, or lose by LESS than 32 points (at the current line of +31.5). As more people bet, the points gap grows.
Happy Monday and happy betting to all!
this is the link I was allowed to copy. Also didn’t check the whole board to see if this was posted so I probably fucked up and deserve Bolivia
That’s how they get ya
If anyone hasn't signed up for the fanduel app yet and is going to for what will end up being free money on this bet feel free to sign up using this link and once you actually but a bet through we will both get $50 in site credit to gamble in whatever way you choose: https://account.mi.sportsbook.fanduel.com/join#RAF=Jacob_13924278
I put $500 on MSU -114 on the money line late last night(its -132 now). If they win, “yay money!” If they lose, “LOL Sparty!”
I love hedging my bets against my fandom. If I bet on UM it’s usually against them for that very reason. I took MSU +525 against UM at the end of the season and made some bank.
Damn. My boys and I started to do this (I bet ML against M the last 5 games so I made a little bit of money) but I don't think any of us have thrown in more than $100 at a time.
You should probably head over to the Gonyeau Sportsbook this weekend and get some serious ?.

Gonyeau Sportsbook is gonna be LAF jerry.
I call that bet “The Emotional Hedge.” Generally a win win in big games that Michigan is playing, I bet big on OSU at +6 on Saturday. Emotionally I was disappointed but then I remembered that I won a bunch of money!!
Did the same thing but bet OSU ML and told my friends it was an emotional hedge and they were saying im not a true M fan lol
I’ve referred to that approach as “fan insurance” with my friends. Typically bet the amount that I’d estimate a ticket to attend the game would cost, watch the game, and if the outcome isn’t what I want I get my money back plus whatever the ML was. Works great to soften the blow when Michigan gets upset, like with the game at Breslin this year.
all bets aside.... when msu loses, I feel like i won.
Are we allowed to post advertisements for competitors of the site's sponsors?
We’re about to find out!
i got nuked for letting people know about vet tix..... who give free tickets away to veterans and take donations of unused tickets, to give away to veterans....... hence my current name.
That is fucking ridiculous you got negged for that
It's a non-profit organization that promotes veterans getting out of the house and interacting at social events.
Fuck anyone in the ear that down voted you for that.
To be clear, he said he got nuked. That’s worse than just being down-voted. Agree that that’s wrong tho. This blog does some peculiar shit
and here I was assuming it was for repeated parking violations.
I’d happily pay $50 to see MSU get smoked.
Ditto, $500 for the buckeyes
How do I see what the line with the boosts is at and how many more wagers will move the line the additional point? Right now, I see it at +2.
If you are in the app and say you are in the state of michigan it will show up right at the top of you wait a minute. It is currently 34.5
Got it now. Thanks!
SEMI-RELATED..I was checking out the ATS records of Tourney teams, worst MSU 9-18,Tex.Tech 10-17.Most are above .500,handful a bit below.500.MICH is 18-7.
I might actually try all this out, now that it is legal here in Michigan, although I typically consider my bracket pool enough betting for me.
Same, but it’s hard to pass up MSU +32 against anyone, let alone UCLA who they could very well beat.

Yeah I’m not really into the whole sports betting thing myself. But every time FanDuel puts out one of their “Spread the Love” promos, I hop right on it. If they’re just going to give away $45, who am I to turn that down?
So far I’ve done it three times, and I’ve turned $150 into $286. *shrugs* I’ll take the giveaways

I am not a gambler. I am a stock market guy. But so far, they have had 3 'free' bets, and i have made almost 400 on them. This will be the 4th free bet.
It is free money. As long as you don't bet on anything and everything every day. That is what they are counting on. Just stay disciplined.
For those that are unfamiliar, they are essentially giving away free money so that you will lose more over time. So don't get too excited about your $45 winnings. Most will end up giving it all back and then some over time. That +32 point thing is pointless.
This is nothing different than other books doubling your initial deposit as a new user bonus.
This is moronic. If you have ANY self control you can literally cash out for $95 anytime immediately after. Nothing forces you to play the winnings.
Most of these promotions actually do force you to use the winnings.
Some do. This does not. Placating like it does without researching or informing one’s self beforehand is just tacky and lazy
So you're saying that every advertisement's reference to a gambling help hotline is strictly to show how conscientious and caring they are, and not because they are required to do so by law because the product they offer has been shown to be addictive?
Actually it's very different. Initial deposit bonuses require you to bet that amount before you can withdraw it. Often times you have to bet 2x that amount or more. This one can be withdrawn at any time. Might seem like the same thing but the details make them very different. If they were the same thing, there wouldn't be a 50.00 bet maximum. Some sites have a 2K deposit match.
in theory yes, but I'll bet a very small percentage of people sign in, win $45, then never gamble again. I stand by my point.
It’s not the point you are making that is the issue. You are probably correct that most people continue to play the money winnings included. It’s the fact that you did no research on the subject and then blatantly lied about parameters of the bet from a false position of knowledge. And then instead of apologizing when you were pointed out to be wrong and setting right which you were wrong about, you doubled down and “stood by your point”
Doubled down?
I see what you did there.
