...and that's before room & board? I know college is expensive (and that there are numerous colleges more expensive than BC) but it never ceases to amaze me when I set it in print or on the screen.

And you out-of-state folks who attend U of M (which isn't much cheaper than BC): thank you, and (very likely) your well-off parents for subsidizing the Michiganders.

Honk if Ufer M…

"Every single person that plays against Michigan DIES"

This is a ridiculous and virtually impossible to prove claim!!!

Unless Michigan ends their football program during your lifetime and you outlive the thousands of still living people that played against Michigan and verify that they all actually died at some point before you die than you can't know that!

Even if that were to happen, unless you live forever you won't know if Michigan will start playing football again in the future or whether or not ALL of the people who play against them in the future will die or not!

Don't you think that at some point one of the guys who couldn't play football at Michigan after we ended the program, would still go to Michigan, but not having football to worry about will focus more on other things and invent a fountain of Utes or an immortality pill that some future Michigan opponent will pop?

Come on, man!

Nope, and I lose zero sleep over it.

I just think it's funny that people like him (and you) like to look down on others who didn't have the grades or money to go to U-M.

Go restrict Michigan Stadium to alumni and students and tell me how full it is on gamedays.

I don't give a shit where anyone went to school.   However, you don't get to brag about the academics and academic rankings of a school unless you went there.  On that same note, you shouldn't be making fun of the academics at MSU/OSU/etc when you couldn't even get into the school.

If you actually read the thread closely, you'd see that I didn't mention anything about academics other than the photo I posted in the OP which shows Michigan is obviously on par with Northwestern in academics.

It comes up almost every month on the board in academic rankings. It's pretty funny that Northwestern didn't include Michigan on there since 1) they're 1-4 since 2008 vs Michigan and 2) Michigan is always atop academic rankings.

I'm a sports fan.

As for academics of rivals, again, I never say anything about that because I don't really care. I make fun of their fans being dumb. That's fair game.

I remember another instance where I made fun of MSU by calling them the Lansing CC Burning Futons which was a play on Brian calling OSU the Akron State Golden Bobcats, and you made a stink about that. It's not my fault you're uninformed.

Why can't he? It comes with the territory. They blast it on the scoreboard every single game, they mention it at every turn. Why can't he brag about the academics? He's not saying he is one of them, and to my frustration, he has said on multiple occasions he's not worthy of a Michigan education.

Knowing from his fandom, he didn't apply at MSU or OSU, but what is saying he couldn't get in? I got into Michigan State, and if I would have visited a different school than James Madison, I would have ended up there. I got into Michigan too, and I made the choice that was right for me. Who's saying He isn't making the choice that's right for him.
