this would be a great get for UM. we need a big guy on our team, and he seems like a good fit. plus he has to know he can come in and get pt as a freshman!! GO BLUE AMIR!!

Don't most freshman in college basketball tend to get playing time anyways?

Depaul?

...would be huge for us. We need to be stronger on the boards to compete in the conference and he can contribute immediately.

Just FYI, we're probably 5th out of those 5 teams.

According to everyone I have read who follows his recruitment closely, we have almost no chance. I agree, we are definitely 5th.

That would be too much to take.

OSU just signed big man Trey McDonald from Battle Creek, MI. Hopefully that shows that they are not to thrilled with their chances at signing Amir. Side note, I thought Trey would be a good pickup if some of our other options (read: Pointer, Williams) fell through. Now we basically have no other targets for that schollie in 2011 if Amir doesn't take us seriously.

Trey is an AAU teammate and friend of Amir.
Amir's last visit is to OSU.
If I had to take a guess, I'd say OSU is the favorite.

I kid. You're probably right.

All the ads with "iAd" in the corner will keep you in the app. The rest are hit or miss.

At a school that is a perennial tournament team, perhaps with a recent championship game appearance, or at a program that will finish at or near the bottom of its conference this season with very little chance of making the NIT?

Michigan.

I'd want to play at a place where I had the best opportunity to develop my game to make it to the NBA. NCAA appearances are awesome and all, but the end game for a highly rated recruit is NBA.

North Carolina.

From what I've heard he is almost a lock to go out of state. It's good that we made his top 5, but don't get your hopes up with this guy.
