All In Tickets Question

Submitted by cargo on

So I was lucky enough to purchase all in tickets last year with no donations ever.  This year after the donation mail came I didn't donate again, and figured I wouldn't be offered the all in again.  Yet a few days ago bam since I bought all in last year they offered the all in pack again to me.  Now my dilema, should I all in or not all in?

Pros: It's tickets to michigan games all year.  Since it will be single ticket I will probably get really close seats like last year.  Again it's Michigan tickets all year.

Cons: Its a 2 1/2 hour drive every saturday morning.  I work a job where saturday's is super busy and while I get those days off I would have to work all the away michigan games.  I have to work the friday night before until 4am on days im going up to Ann arbor.  Finally I have to money but to buy the tickets but am lost if it's worth it.

So any advice?

work to watch Michigan play ball on a crisp Autumn afternoon at the Big House?  Seriously, my drive is 5.5 hours each way to get to Ann Arbor and during the past two seasons sometimes it was tough to get motivated for 11 hours in the car when the team was struggling.

My son is 6 years old and I took him to his first Michigan game last season.  He still talks about it and he is as excited about the coming season as I am.  The point is this, he has seen Michigan play football on television.  While he was very interested, it was the experience of the live game that left the indelible impression on him.

The Michigan football experience, in person in Ann Arbor, with the personal sacrifices we each make to support the team; this is what fuels our passion for the team.

This is going to be an amazing season, come what may.  New legends will begin, the RR dynasty gains momentum.  Do you really want to hear Pam Ward tell you about it?  This choice isn't even close, buy the tickets and go to the games!

You never know when you won't be able to go to another game in person.  I treat every game like it could be the last one I am able to experience.  So any opportunity to get tickets and attend a Michigan game to me is a must buy/attend.

One year about 5 years ago I was getting tired of going to the stadium every Saturday and didn't enjoy the last couple games.  Well within a month or two of the season ending I couldn't wait to be at the stadium again. I will never feel that way about going to a game again and I have only missed one game since 1997 at the Big House and that was for my sister's wedding.  I missed 3 of my cousin's weddings because they scheduled them on a home game.

All in all get the tickets!

I drive from Toronto for every home game.  We make a weekend out of it, and I can't  think of a spot I would rather be than in Ann Arbor on an autumn weekend,

Believe me, take it from a person that doesn't get to go to many games. You want to buy the tickets. I hadn't been to a game at the Big House until the Indiana and Ohio State games last year and it was amazing.
