I've had 4 major surgeries.
I hope some of the 93 surgeries he's had were minor because... damn.
The last one, I was under 6 hours and couldn't pee for like 20 hours after.
You just feel so wretched (yet relieved) when you hear them waking you up post surgery. You're just so glad it's over.
If you told me I was going to go through that 89 more times, I'm not sure I would want to face up to that. I really hope that some of those were routine, short procedures.

There may be a more dignified term for it, but I don't know if there is a better one. Forget the fact that he's been cut by doctors HUNDREDS of times (which is pretty metal)- imagine all the weeks in the hospital? Imagine all the time he's had to spend being nervous before surgury? How many time the worst-case scenario has gone through his mind? How could someone this young go through that crap?
Only one answer suffices- the kid is a stone-cold badass.
