Just gotta protect JJ and hopefully have improved OZ runs or thrown it out by then. What was the year we were struggling with the run for the first half of the season, then we started running tons of counter and whooping ass?

Hopefully it won't take that long this year to sort it out.

I will be there. First game in 5 years. Bringing my Dad with me. We are coming from 10 hours away in Kentucky, which Dad is a fan of, but when we attend these games he always goes in to MDen and buys gear and wears it that day.

(Rivalry game)

With Chris Ash out of his misery, we’ve seen a lot less Chirpy Rutgers, which makes me sad.

Chirpy Rutgers was on the receiving end of 2 point conversions when we were up by 29 and 49 points, in a couple games.

Chirpy Rutgers saw themselves as Ohio State Lite, collaborated on a satellite camp, and OSU promptly poached all the best Rutgers recruits.

Chirpy Rutgers was also on the receiving end of a 3rd string fullback scoring a record-tying touchdown late in the game.

Chirpy Rutgers created the best, by FAR, marketing slogan for a game: “Stripe the Birthplace” was hilarious.

Chirpy Rutgers created a “sEcReT sOcIeTy” which “vandalized” the field; said vandalism could best be described as “adorable”: they left teddy bears.

Chirpy Rutgers took out a full page to celebrate a linebacker who chose Rutgers over Michigan, called out Harbaugh by name.

I miss Chirpy Rutgers. Competent-At-Football Rutgers is much less fun…

Rutgers has managed to surprise us the last two seasons.  Last year they led us at halftime and two years ago, they held us scoreless in the second half, missed a chip shot 4th quarter field goal that would have cut our lead to 4 and Jake Moody missed a field goal that would have iced the game earlier before we recovered a fumble.  That game was...uncomfortable.
